They are good, but as someone who doesn't eat a ton of meat -- they are very dense. What you see eaten is about where I stopped.

yours doesn't look like enough olive relish ooozing out...to me that offsets the dense meat.
I don’t know where to find a good one around here. In Panama City, we had lots of places serving New Orleans and Cajun and Creole foods. |

Ok, I'll have to admit, if I got that, I'd likely take out a good portion of the meat, eat the rest and then have the take home stuff for a later meal(s). It looks delicious but just way too heavy for myself.

We got to the block party about 45 minutes after it started. There were lots of snack and finger foods as well as several crock pots on the table. I brought fresh fruit: strawberries, blackberries and red grapes. I ate raw veggies, fruit and enjoyed some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had. The beans were sweet and had a lot of ground beef and bacon. I was able to reconcile with my mortal enemy, Lima beans, through the diplomacy of the bacon. We’re still not friends, but I can tolerate them in the company of other strong flavors.

pho - tripe, tendon, brisket, flank. I would love just a tendon & tripe offering. I love those parts. Although I guess the brisket offsets the offal :-) https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8f257908a.jpeg |
It’s Lent. Started with cold shrimp and cocktail sauce (extra horseradish).
