yours doesn't look like enough olive relish ooozing out...to me that offsets the dense meat.

As much as I love the olive relish, the denser it is, the harder it is to find any pits that remain. I’ve found them with my teeth twice so I end up picking through it with my fingers now just in case.

I don’t know where to find a good one around here. In Panama City, we had lots of places serving New Orleans and Cajun and Creole foods.

Ok, I'll have to admit, if I got that, I'd likely take out a good portion of the meat, eat the rest and then have the take home stuff for a later meal(s). It looks delicious but just way too heavy for myself.

I had the rest of the first half for lunch today. I didn't want to dissect it too much while sitting at the bar.

We got to the block party about 45 minutes after it started. There were lots of snack and finger foods as well as several crock pots on the table. I brought fresh fruit: strawberries, blackberries and red grapes. I ate raw veggies, fruit and enjoyed some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had. The beans were sweet and had a lot of ground beef and bacon. I was able to reconcile with my mortal enemy, Lima beans, through the diplomacy of the bacon. We’re still not friends, but I can tolerate them in the company of other strong flavors.

Great Chicago Fire Brewery, hot dog ranch and biker bar. I had the Maxwell Street polish sausage with kraut and a couple Beach Blonde ales. My father in law ate a couple original Chicago dogs. Mrs BV ordered the gyro. Wine was $3.75 a glass happy hour price.

pho - tripe, tendon, brisket, flank. I would love just a tendon & tripe offering. I love those parts. Although I guess the brisket offsets the offal :-)
