Yes and lots of it.
I called the restaurant and it was explained. There were 3 of us and when we ordered we asked how many pieces came in the order of spanakopita (it is 2) and I guess we asked if it could be 3 so they charged for the extra piece. It was still pricey to pay $9 for a little square of spanakopita but at least we weren't charged for a doggy bag! On a different note, now I'm craving that. |

Lol...I am sure that you can find a better one for less money. I have eaten there a couple times and the food is always mediocre and over priced IMO but I was outvoted. The best part was (we were sitting out on the patio) there was a dog at the next table celebrating his 13th birthday. . :star:

Ha! Well he found a way to be by us. Such a sweet guy and we had just been served our food so I am sure he smelled it. Plus we were all petting him and making a fuss. . His parents said that he gets a meatball.

According to your check, a full order of spanakopita, which you later wrote consisted of two pieces, was $18. So, $9 wouldn't be out of line for one piece, which is a half an order. That's still expensive for spanakopita.
Was that his bark mitzvah? |

Was that his bark mitzvah? Yes, once I was told what the charge was for it made sense. |
