I would give it a medal. A little darker in color and a little more “bite” than a typical Pilsner. I would only subtract points for excessive foaming.

The only (sort of) local Czech Pilsner I've had is the Joseph Brau from Trader Joe's, brewed by Gordon Biersch in San Jose. It's okay at best. Turmeric chicken with asparagus and sushi rice.
Mr. CE and I argue about rice. He only likes basmati, I prefer sushi rice. I pointed out to him recently that I almost always compromise to accommodate him but he rarely does the same. He listened, and today we had sushi rice :) |
