Fantastic! I love Ikeda’s and always stop there (despite having an amazing suggestion from my beloved braslvr and Ikeda’s is just so lovely. I tend to get the steak sandwich and I’ve never had a burger there. Last time I had a poke bowl. I just love Ikeda’s so much. ... |

Do you recall what that suggestion was? I'll be passing through again later this week during the evening. The only other place I've been is Katrina's, which is breakfast and lunch only.
For dinner, I recommend Auburn Alehouse. |
Tonight’s dinner was chicken and dumplings my aunt made for us.
|
Two charcoal grilled tuna steaks, one with olive oil and lemon pepper (cooked medium) and one with plum sauce (just seared); charcoal grilled asparagus; garlic bread made from homemade yeast rolls.
|
Tri tip (a perfect medium rare which is too rare for my wife)
steamed broccoli

Went looking for the Peppina branch in Central World - interestingly, I got lost and ended up in a service elevator to the 7th floor where I finally found the restaurant in the middle of a furniture store - the carbonara pizza here was larger than the one at Peppina Central Embassy, but the egg portion was some sort of cold egg jelly as opposed to the warm egg yolk used at Central Embassy

Ugh, I'm on a clear liquid diet today and tomorrow since I'm having a colonoscopy. This thread is like either porn or torture with all the pics, I can't decide which.
