It's both. I don't want to consume that much grease, and I don't want it all over my fingers.

The former is certainly a problem, but I've never had a problem with the latter. With the biscuit and bagel sandwiches I've noticed the grease will drip, but not so much with the McMuffins. The bagels actually feel greasy on the outside. Maybe I just have good McMuffin technique! :D

Besides, this thread is titled Your Favorite Breakfast?, not What Don't You Like About Other People's Favorite Breakfasts.

Breakfast is probably my favorite meal and weekends are nice for a leisurely breakfast/brunch.

Some of my favorites are:

Belgian waffles
Cinnamon rolls
Pancakes
Croissants
French toast

And good quality bacon to give with any of those.

Actually, it's too much for me. I tend to choose pancakes or something like that for breakfast.

Dosa (a fermented lental savory pancake) with aloo masala (fried potato), sambar (spicy lentals) and chutney with or without cheese.

Dosa are a south indian traditional breakfast but found across india with a few non traditional fillings like cheese. The sambar I could live without but the rest of it, particularly with coconut chutney, was fantastic when I was visiting on a combined holiday, wedding and work trip.

Had them since coming back to the UK but the places that sell them here tends not to be open at breakfast so it becomes a lunch thing.

A few weeks ago on a business trip to San Francisco I came across a hold-inthe-wall banh mi place open at 7am while walking from my hotel to the office.

This is my new favorite breakfast. :D

A bacon egg & cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll from a street cart in either Phila. or New York City.

The same sandwich from one of the Amish stands at the Reading Terminal Market in Phila. is even better, but I'm rarely there.
