BBQ Chicken and Jalapeńo pizza from Schlotsky's for lunch. I'm one of those people who think that on a 1-10 scale, almost all pizza starts out as a 5 and just gets better. This was a 5.

wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy Trader Joe’s dough to make your own that’ll be a 7-9 and still be under $5 each? Depending on the opportunity cost for the 45 minutes of work versus 15 minutes to fetch the BOGO!

I just can’t imagine justifying $5 for a pizza that’s 5 out of 10. You’re so much better than this! Pizza really shouldn’t be fair. Not in 2021!!
I consider Costco slice to be a 7 for flavor. Is your $5 pizza better than or equal to Costco pizza? That’s a common denominator we can understand.

Had a can of Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli for dinner finished off with some Haagan-Dazs Rocky Road Ice Cream. My wife complained there was a too ripe banana left, so I cut it up into my bowl and made a somewhat Banana Split. I just realized, I could have some Whipped Cream, but forgot it.

Flaked salmon with turmeric rice and lemon yogurt. Bought it from a cafe up the road. Gosh it was good. Would've liked a bit more.

You inspired me to bake a couple of Giant (about 5 in. diameter) Crinkled Chocolate Chip Cookies. (I keep the dough frozen so we don’t eat them all in one sitting.) They’re fun to bake because you bang the cookie sheet 2 or 3 times during baking to get the effect.

Where I find the most variability in the 5-10 scale is with taco pizza. They can literally be any of the 5 points. I don't know if it still exists, or if it's the same recipe, but the 10 will always be reserved for Happy Joe's Taco Supreme pizza in Green Bay, WI. Kind of a pan-style pizza, with warm taco fillings in the crust, then on top a layer of the cold toppings - sour cream, lettuce, sliced black olives, and crumbled tortilla chips. Packets of taco sauce on the side. I'm fairly certain every slice was about 5000 calories, and I could eat 3 when I was 18 years old.
