I almost started having a breakdown when my local liquor store didn't have any Elevation Beer Company Oil Man in stock.

Aaaah, give me one of the Molson Black Ice, in exchange for a six-pack of Stella

Went out last night and drank a Pensacola Bay Rip Tide Amber at Margaritaville on the beach. It wasn't fabulous but at least it was several points better than that Landshark crap Jimmy brews himself.

I'll be in Pensacola next week and hope to stop by the brewery on my way home.

Pa Kettle Apr 9, 2015 10:59 am

Couple of Lagunitas' Olde Gnarly Wine Style Ale and one Shiner Prickly Pear Lager.

Odell's Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout

Certainly the chocolate-iest beer I've ever tasted. With that said, the chocolate wasn't overpowering and was very pleasant.

I had Tetley's and Hong Kong beer in Hong Kong over the weekend and loved it. Searching for it in YYC.

I enjoyed a Hong Kong beer when I was in HK last month. Sadly, I enjoyed it at the Intercontinental's Lobby bar so it was $11 USD for one!

I had two Stella @ $15 each while unwinding in the IC's magnificent lobby bar. Sometimes you just go with the moment. :D

Tonight more Smithwick's! ^

I agree! And it was at the end of a long day of touring so that made it even better.

Incidentally, tried some Unita Hopnosh over the weekend, that was good stuff ^

A few Mahou (Madrid's main beer for those of you who may not know it). Having lived abroad for quite some years already, you tend to miss certain things from "home".

I was in Madrid last year and I drank plenty of that, it's good stuff.

Hop-heads who visit Ohio need to look for Millersburg Brewing Company's French Ridge IPA. One of the best I've had.

Jackie O's (Athens, OH) Mystic Mama is also terrific.
