Nothing yesterday and nothing again today.
Think I'll stop spending on the Amex DL Platinum now - no point using cash to work towards MQMs when they're just handing them out to others.

The 15k is a mysterious gift.
I woke up to 15k for me, and 10k for Mrs. Gargoyle, putting us both at 50k for the year, with over 20k of flights each already booked for later this year.
Maybe they are re-aligning everyone before the announcement of the fourth tier, and at that point they'll change all the tier requirements?

It appears from the posts that all of the folks living in Atlanta who got the bonus got 5000 mqms...hubby and I live in Atlanta and that is what we got.

Sometime between last night and this morning I pocketed an extra 10K MQM, which means I'll now be pushing 100K total MQMs after my next flight.

Had a rock last night, woke up to the 15K this morning. I made Platinum first time last year, my first year of real travel for business, and am well on my way this year (over 60K with this bonus), Sky Club member, only 150K MM.
Heres my wild speculation on this. Feel free to debate.
I think this means we're about to learn of a 30K-60K-90K-120K (or higher) 4-tier qualification system, effective for MQM earnings this year. The 5K-10K-15K bonuses are DL's best effort (there will be flaws) to align everyone based on what they think people would have attained this year. For example, I was on my way to Plat at 75K, so 15K will get me to 90K with same travel as planned. If you were on your way to FO, the 5k makes up the difference from 25K to 30K, and for Gold, the 10k makes up 50K to 60K.

This morning woke up with 15K MQM extra.
Now siting at 146K MQM's. Will end the year between 165 and 175K.
My partner (FO) got 10K this morning as well, now he is at 26K YTD.

I think Delta would be making a big mistake if it did that. It would be one thing had it been announced in advance, but you can't take people who have already earned a medallion level in 2009 and take it away from them. That is a recipe for getting very angry passengers.
