SLC would be nice complement to the last gathering at CVG.

I'll add my +1 to zsmith2's offer. If it's in SLC, I might even be able to make a mini-MR out of it!

Thanks for your reply. If we could get more interest in this I will contact the appriopate parties. One thing off the top of my head that the DO would incorporate would be some of the upcoming new deliveries of the CRJ-900s.

I have the contact for the Road Warrior Training so we could still have the Official Unauthorized DL DO at a convenient date.

Mrs. Gargoyle and I would be interested in attending either option. zsmith2, is there any equivalent of Road Warrior Training available with your company?

We had a segment on a very new Skywest CR-9 a few weeks ago, while I make disparaging remarks about Barbie Jets, the CR-9's are very nice airplanes; I don't count them in the Barbie Jet category. :D

I would love to attend a DL Connection / quasi-DL-related event with my fellow FTers. Pick a hub (any hub). Or any out-station, for that matter.

I'd definitely be interested. Either SLC or ATL works for me as well...

I prefer ATL (driveable), but would give SLC a try as well. Which one is closer to Canarsie's backyard? I'm already drooling for steaks......

Oo-oo! Pick Huntsville, throw in some thunderstorms in ATL, and maybe we can arrange some diverts! :D

You can count me in but you have probably already factored that into the numbers. :)

Yeah...you just want to go to get the secret door prize of the CRJ-200 seat "8C". :D

It wouldn't have to be a formal road warrior training. Just let everyone have a chance to open the emergency exit on one of the CRJs - it wouldn't even have to be a new delivery! If fact, it might be wise to use one about to go in for service. :p I've (fortunately) never had to open one & would like to know I can do it. Sliding down a chute (in a nonemergency) would also be pretty cool.

^ +1

And it's good for everyone to have frequent fliers get that hands-on experience.

You can be sure Dov will be there for that.

Depending on the model-specific pictographs, we probably should skip the step where exit door is chucked out onto the tarmac.

The door is fairly inexpensive - hitting the wing, not so much ...

Back on topic, I do appreciate the efforts of our airline friends in arranging events for loyal customers.
