It is capitalism at its best and is the American way. I wasn't planning on speaking, but had I wished to do so at the appropriate time, I would have done so in a professional manner. Agreed. For me, I was also going partly because I figured a dinner or such would be planned afterwards and it would be a social event to get to know some of the people on here who I have never met in person.

I am completely in favor of turning this back positive, and offer my assistance as well. DWD, I hope at this point you realize that as a group we really can be trusted. While I can't speak for anyone but myself and while I had nothing to do with the issues of earlier this week, I do feel badly for whatever you and your co-workers had to go through/fix. Can we now put this in our collective rear-view mirrors and go forward?

Well it looks like I missed a lot of the drama on this one, but I'm still on for getting together. As a NW customer, I would look forward to getting together with executives of Delta as well as others that I will be sharing planes with for many years to come!

I think the original DO discussed/planned in this thread is currently dead. I won't re-hash why... you can read the entire thread if you need more details. There was some discussion awhile back around pulling together a DO around the Road Warrior training in ATL, at the same time as the DL Block Party.

If we want have a DO, we can have one, we just need to organize it. I am more than willing to plan the RW training as a starting point, but we would have to start this all over again from the beginning. Pick a date, location (probably ATL), schedule the RW training is there is enough interest, get a list of those that want to attend, and then see what other activities we can schedule depending upon the number of people that will attend. If you are interested in RW training, send me a message and I will see what I can do from this end.

I don't check FT as often as I used to, the negativity was getting to me, but have always wanted to attend Road Warrior training, preferably with a bunch of FTers.

I am interested in attending the RW training and anything else scheduled. Depending on when would include Mrs. Italy. ^ :)

Thanks to everyone that has responded. I am actively working on pulling something together, and once I have the basic details worked out, I will let everyone know what the options are. Thanks to those that offered their help, as I get further along in the planning, I will certainly take you up on that offer! There is a lot more to planning something like this than you my realize. I am a staff of one with no budget, but I am persistent and hard working, so please be patient with me as I work out the details. :)
