I haven't. I said I was in, because I will be available to attend the meeting and I sent in my request. I have not heard back yet.

According to the announcement, the first 50 FT'ers to RSVP will be accommodated. They have also invited other Medallion members who do no participate in FT. Best I can tell, this announcement is only posted in the DL forum and so far (much to my surprise), only 10 people have posted that they responded to the announcement and intend to attend...far short of 50. If anyone on the 'list' does not receive a confirmatory email, just post here or PM me and I'll adjust the confirmed list to reflect accurate information.

I didn't RSVP because I'm not sure I'll be travelling that week so I didn't want to take up a spot. If I am travelling that week, would I be able to fly into ATL from MCI in the afternoon, attend the event and get back to the airport to catch a 10PM ATL-MLB flight? Is it doable in that timeframe and would I be allowed to have a long layover like that on a DL ticket?

I should know tomorrow or Thursday if I can make it... will the 50 slots be gone by then?

Edit: Adding a 7 hour layover on the reurn on May 18th doubles the price of my ticket. If DL can't get me my regular tix price for this event, I can't go.

Well there are quite a few:
Peachtree Rd
Peachtree Industrial
Peachtree Park
Peachtree Battle
Peachtree Dunwoody
Peachtree Valley
Peachtree View
Peachtree Way
Peachtree Corners
Peachtree Circle
.....to name a few.

I think there are supposedly something like 30 with the name Peachtree in it. However, despite Georgia being the "Peach State"--California and South Carolina both produce more peaches.

My wife and I have not received email confirmations yet, by the way, although we only signed up yesterday.

Is it bad if I have to fly northwest metal out of DTW to get upgraded to the event?

Too bad this isn't going to be a couple of weeks later, since I'll be there for ASCO.. then again, guess there wouldn't be any hotel rooms left!

Something to think about...

If you are attending this event and cannot make it to either ATL Do, you might want to visit the Georgia Aquarium and / or CNN. You are within a short walk (about 1/4 mile) of both attractions...

The aquarium is amazing! The largest (by volume of water) in the world and the only place outside Japan that you can view whale sharks!

Hopefully Gasper (one of five Beluga whales who is very sick at the moment) will recover enough to return "home" by then.
