Question What's going on

I'm trying to figure out what's going on in Atlanta on 5/18

Combined with the 500 mile "Thank You" bonus promotion, could this be the start of a more customer focused Delta? We can only hope!

I'll be in Europe on the 18th, or I'd be there. Who's going?

Confirmed:

1. flygirl555
2. miro
3. milesandpoints
4. stretchman

Well, I am disappointed but can't attend. I have wanted something like this for a long time but with the short notice, I can't rearrange my schedule to get there. I hope that those that are lucky enough to attend represent our interests well.

It's basically adjacent/near the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel on Peachtree St (what else ). If driving, do a mapquest for the Peachtree Plaza Hotel at 210 Peachtree St. I believe the nearest Marta rail stop would be Peachtree Center (N1) on the North/South line.

Both my wife and I are planning to attend and I just signed both of us up. As we live roughly 10 to 15 minutes away, and will be in town, it will be easy to check it out

Downtown on Peachtree Street...directly across from 191 Peachtree (http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=239) and up the block from the Hard Rock Cafe / Westin Peachtree Plaza.

Here are directions:

Approximately 13 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

FROM ALL POINTS NORTH:

South on Interstate 75/85
Exit 249A, Courtland Street (one way street)
Three lights to International Blvd., Turn Right
Two lights to Peachtree Street, Turn Left

FROM ALL POINTS SOUTH:

Interstate 20 (East and West) Intersects with Interstate 75/85 South of Atlanta
Go North on Interstate 75/85 from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport
Exit 248C, International Blvd.
Turn Left at second light onto International Blvd.
Follow International Blvd. for four lights to Peachtree Street,

TRANSPORTATION VIA MARTA:

Rail transportation is available as an alternative to driving from the Atlanta Airport. Macy's is located one block from the Peachtree Center Station (N1) on the MARTA line (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). The fare is $1.75 and the trip is about 25 minutes. The MARTA entrance at the airport is located at the west entrance of the terminal complex, near other ground transportation services.

flygirl555, well my post on location & directions beat yours by two minutes, but your attention to detail blows mine out of the water. Thanks, and see you there.
