I was in Prague in the middle of November. It was the off-season, so everything was affordable. Though, it was very cold and rainy. But, considering that the weather was similar to what I was experiencing here in PHL, it wasn't bad. I loved Prague. I am going back, sooner rather than later. I had a chance to visit Krakow, Poland, and was impressed with that city as well. I encourage a visit to either or both of those two places. Thankfully, they haven't switched over to the Euro... yet. The dollar gets a decent exchange rate against both the Crown (CZ) and Zloty (PL).

I flew CZA from Prague to Sri Lanka last year and was generally pleased. The business class seats were not the most comfortable however. They somehow managed to squeeze an extra seat in, so the cabin configuration is 2-3-2 and the pitch isn't great either. I've never seen an Airbus 310 with 7 across in business and to compare, the coach cabin has a 2-4-2 layout.

The service was very nice though.

I've been to Prague twice and I have to say it's an absolutely incredible city. It's gorgeous, affordable, and filled with some of the most gracious people that I've ever encountered. I recommend it to everyone and just convinced a friend to book a trip there in a few weeks.

Regarding CSA ... yes, I too flew them from Amsterdam to Prague and they offer a fantastic product. A worthy airline of booking a flight on either across the pond or in Europe.

p.s., Don't forget that the Czech Republic isn't on the euro yet so it's still a cheap country to visit in comparision to the other European countries.

Nicer 15 years ago...

Prague is a beautiful city, but one that IMHO was far nicer 15 years ago. Back then the Curtain had just fallen and it wasn't so Westernized... Sigh...

I just redeemed 2 Delta SM tkts today (VNO -> DEN) on CSA. Looking forward to it...

I would hazard a guess and say it is not too far from anyplace else in Lithuania.

If you would stop bombarding my in-box with PMs about your thongs you would have the time to learn geography!

I learned the hard way that the only thing Dovster hates worse than vegetables are PM's.
Presumably the FT version and not the DL version.....

Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania, one of the Baltic States. LT is just north of Poland. LT only takes 4 hours to drive across... If you're catching zzzz's, you'll miss it.
