Does anyone know if the lounge at NRT has a shower? Thanks

The interactive lounge guide combines qualifying entry criteria, locations, and a features list.

We used the new NW lounge in March and they had great shower rooms and a rather nice lounge area with great views of the international flight deck... even saw a "Delta" 747 taxi out. I think this gets to your question. Enjoy....

NW/DL has currently two SkyClubs in NRT terminal 1;
One is in satellite 1 and another is in satellite 2.
And both have several shower rooms. Ask card key at the reception.

Yes, I used the one in the satellite 1 where DL metal flights depart. The showers are rather compact, nothing like the UA shower suites, but quite functional and water pressure was great. Simply present your boarding pass to reception, which they will hold, and one of the ladies will escort you to the shower room. If they are occupied they will page you when one becomes available.

I am quite impressed with the NW club(s) at NRT.

Yes, showers available, and the food selection was excellent. Probably one of the nicer clubs I've been in. Puts ATL to shame.

I wanted to say ditto to your, and everyone elses, remarks on this thread. After some train travel issues we got to the airport 1:15before flight. Scrabbled thought security, immigration, etc... got to the sky club, I asked for a shower she looked at me like I was crazy as they had just made the boarding announcement. The only shower they had was still being cleaned, but she took my name none the less. Two mins later my name was called, I got the key to the shower and had it back in her hand in about 6 mins. I was clean and ready for the flight home, one more beer and done to board the flight.

Thanks for all the help in here.
peace to all

NRT SkyClub Packed !

For just a moment, I thought I was in ATL. The Sky Club in NRT is packed...and I mean standing room only !!!

I fly through NRT maybe four times a year. ( the rest of the time, CO direct from EWR to HKG). But in my 10 years of traveling this route, I have NEVER seen the lounge this crowded.

What gives? Is this normal ? It is 3:00 PM NRT time, and you actually have to wait to use the rest room !

I know there is another lounge in NRT, but time did not allow me to trek down there. Has anyone else noticed this trend?

This is the Skyteam lounge near gate 25 where the NW flights depart, right?

I was there two weeks ago, but on a Saturday from about 2pm to 5pm (My 3:30 scheduled NW departure to LAX was delayed 2 hours). The lounge was busy, but there were always open seats and computers. I imagine weekdays would be busier. If I had found the lounge to be as crowded as you did, I would have been tempted to hike to the one in the opposite wing of the airport. Either of these are my two favorite lounges in the world because of the Apple PC's, beer machine, and decent snacky food. (UL's at the CMB airport may be even better for the food.) The last lounge I found to be uncomfortably crowded was KE's at ICN in January.

Perhaps related to the volcanic activity and diversions?? With the US flights arriving later, it is likely wreaking havoc with the NW schedules.

I was at the NRT Skyteam lounge last Monday (June 15) - my NRT - JFK flight was canceled because of some volcanic activity in Russia and I ended up in the lounge - there was space in the lounge but lot of us were lost and confused trying to get back in the US - help wasn't readily available and passengers kept getting shuffled from one counter to another counter. Isn't there an Air France lounge next to the Delta/North West lounge - would they allow you entry?
