I just looked now and it is still offering 3 seats in Y. What I have also found is that to a massive hub such as ATL where there are several flights within 3 hours (every hour to be precise) and all are showing seats available, enough business travelers shuffle around that the later flights rarely end up being oversold. I'd be money that 1384 leaves with seats open.

#1384 is all zeros now. It appears most fights are 0Y and only a few have F today.
The race in Daytona, 1/2 Marathon and other footraces at Disney, as well as families and their childrenz coming to see the Mouse on vacation...not much room coming to Orlando today. Exception being #39 with 9YBM and 8SH I don't mind getting in late(r) tonight if I can swing another VDB :) |

Yeah, just noticed on flightstats it all went to 0.
I don't mind getting in late(r) tonight if I can swing another VDB :) There are a few F seats left...but only 1, 2 and 3's. I would be thinking those might even disappear as they try to reroute any displaced passengers from yesterday due to the weather in the midwest. Good luck and have fun. |

You never know. Yesterday my flight from ATL-MCO (the 7:15PM) was F0 Y0, and then sometime between 3:30PM and 5:30PM, they switched it from a 757 to an A330-200.
Not only were there empty seats, they also accommodated at least 25 people from the standby list and I believe they still had a few empties. I was happy as I went from 6 of 40+ for 0 seats, to 6 of 40+ for 8 seats, and got the upgrade. Not sure why they decided to fly an A332 for a flight that short... |

Absolutely...if they can find someplace to put ya. All flights after 1384 are Y0.

Maybe that A330 was just sitting at ATL feeling bored and lonely so someone wanted to teach it to stop complaining. I hope all the kiddies going to see the mouse didn't cause any permanent damage to a nice bird. |

. . . . . that it's a Y0 - or "Why Zero", and not "Oy", as in, the classic Jewish exclamation! :D |

They told us that they had to get a reserve pilot/FO to fly it, which caused a 45 min delay or so. But, I do know that the seatmap on the original 757 was completely full, flightstats showed it F0 Y0, and that the flight before it had a huge standby list (I passed it and considered trying to switch). That coupled with all of the midwest mess, plus a lonely plane? |

Nah, it wasn't the refurbished version, unfortunately.

Wonder if they switched to get those 25 from the standby list down if they had some slack in the 330 schedule and an available crew. Great that they could accommodate everyone. See that it went out this morning as the 830am. Would love to sit in the Ops Center and observe how they make the decision and coordinate it all. Quite a science from my perspective. |

I saw the 955pm listed as a 767 when I checked a few flights yesterday afternoon. When we pulled in at 1230 this morning...I saw something big and just thought it was the 767...but then noticed the winglets and smiled.

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640...593/dla380.jpg Can you imagine all of the gate checked strollerz??? :D They have removed every other seat to allow for the strollers to be brought on-board. They have installed harnesses to strap the strollers down. Kids and parents are both comfortable and don't have to worry about the gate checkz... |
