The schedule today and tomorrow actually has 2 of these loaded. The 915am and the 830pm.
They have removed every other seat to allow for the strollers to be brought on-board. They have installed harnesses to strap the strollers down. Kids and parents are both comfortable and don't have to worry about the gate checkz... https://sp3.yimg.com/ib/th?id=H.4612...21951&pid=15.1 |

Cool! Will they also be the ones with the new SUPER slimline seats, not only to maximize space, but, also to make the kidz feel like they're at Disney even before they get there? :D

Yeah, just noticed on flightstats it all went to 0.
I don't mind getting in late(r) tonight if I can swing another VDB :) Y7 at any point prior to DoD tells you nothing. It's not uncommon to over book a 757 by 20 in Y. So when you see Y7 it could already be over by 13. Even at Y0, managers can still oversell someone onto a flight if they want to. It's rare, but it does happen (I've done it myself). |

I took a VDB once, on a flight that was Y3. I was really surprised they were oversold, but, the RedCoat told me that they had a VERY last minute need to get 7 FAs pos space from JFK to MSP. I told her they were still selling seats. She said, she knew! What could she do!
:) I had a friend call me from MSP one time saying they were asking for a number of VDB's (W&B issues). If I were closer to the airport I would have bought a ticket and hotfooted it to the airport myself! |

You never know. Yesterday my flight from ATL-MCO (the 7:15PM) was F0 Y0, and then sometime between 3:30PM and 5:30PM, they switched it from a 757 to an A330-200.
Not only were there empty seats, they also accommodated at least 25 people from the standby list and I believe they still had a few empties. I was happy as I went from 6 of 40+ for 0 seats, to 6 of 40+ for 8 seats, and got the upgrade. Not sure why they decided to fly an A332 for a flight that short... |

Did you buy an extra ticket for the flight, thus able for 2 x VDB? :D
I was flying JFK/MSP/ATL (long story ;)). The RedCoat couldn't find another flight to ATL that would get me there within X amount of hours of my original arrival, so, she said - You ARE eligible for a $400 VDB! So, she rebooked me on the later ATL nonstop. I saw a flight on the monitor leaving for BOS in 30 minutes. After I got the $400 ECV, using my trusty ExpertFlyer mobile version, I found JFK/BOS/ATL arriving at nearly my original arrival time! :D. A few keypunches later, viola! Rebooked! The down side was, that I had to suffer in an empty row of 3 Y seats on the loooooong flight JFK/BOS - - But, I got the UG on BOS/ATL on a lunch flight! :D |
never mind.
