All BE and skysaver for Husband/Wife:
SLC - ATL Feb 2009 DL
ATL - PVG Feb 2009 DL
SGN - ICN Mar 2009 Korean Air Open Jaw return
ICN - NRT Mar 2009 Korean Air
NRT - HNL Mar 2009 NWA 9 hr layover sitesee locally NRT
HNL - SLC Mar 2009 DL 15 hr layover sitese locally Ohau
Seems to be good Asia availability with someflexibility at least in this time of year which is a great time to visit southeast asia (dry "cool" season).

DEN or COS to PHL for a weekend mid May for a baptism and adoption "Gotcha" party. Plenty of SkySavers for both Y and F. Oddly, I was going to do Y and one of the outbound legs was in F on Northwest for the same miles as Y on DL.

Well I am keeping up my pace of burning as many miles as I earn. I just redeemed the following two tickets for myself in Feb. 09:
DL F/SQ F: 140,000
ATL-LAX-NRT(stopover)-SIN-DPS-SIN-(NRT)-LAX-ATL
LAX to SIN and VV are both in F, SIN-DPS-SIN in Y
Also redeemed Y NW/CO:
NRT-GUM / GUM-HNL on CO 956 / HNL-NRT for 60,000 miles
For those that do not know CO 956, that is the island hopper flight from GUM to HNL which makes 5 stops along the way. The prices were outragous and even though I was very unhappy that the Y pricing at a full US-ASIA cost, it still gets me on one of the few adventure flights left in skyteam.
BTW, this is all done in a week (saturday to following sunday) I am a little crazy on my vacations.

I know that if you book J award on SQ, the inter-Asia portion *MAY* be put in Y - but for F award, shouldn't they be in J?
Availability for SIN-DPS in J always always been good in J. You might want to also consider asking at check in or gate, if it's possible to sit in J as your ticket is an F award.

This is painfully convoluted, but I still feel lucky I got it:
JFK-CDG-AMS-NBO-LLW
LLW-NBO-LHR-JFK
Booked March 18th for 80,000 miles in economy. Using Air France, KLM, Kenya Airways, and Delta. $103 in taxes + $20 booking fee was all I paid, to go all the way from New York to Malawi! I was actually surprised how low the taxes were...I was worried that passing through London would shoot them upwards.
It was a little annoying to be charged $20 when this ticket was not even available for searching on delta.com, let alone booking...but I saw another thread that this is now worse, $25 PLUS another $25 for using partner airlines!
The reps I spoke to were incredibly nice, however...had to make many calls while searching and then holding on the flight to triple-check my schedule. Only one that was possibly from an Indian call center (not that there's anything wrong with that...)

I'm pretty happy with DL today. Just booked two SQ F awards SFO-oHKG-oSIN-LAX for 140k each. $37.80 in taxes + $50 in DL junk fees. Just under $1000 total, thanks to Budget and 1-800-Flowers!

i'm still a novice at this but was pretty happy with my first BE miles redemption on DL -
April 08.
SFO-JFK-CDG-ZRH (AF for CDG-ZRH)
ZRH-EWR-SFO (CO)
95k miles spent, all bus/first on the dates i wanted.
delta even gave me miles for the ZRH-SFO return on CO (though no mqm) which i think was probably a mistake... now it'll be hard to fly coach internationally for sure.

I've Had Good Luck
I have no trouble getting skysaver awards from Atl-LIM RT'S. But we are very flexible with our travel dates. I have had 2 tickets april 08 2 more for may to june and 3 for next NOV 08 to Feb 09 all skysavers.. I also have one LIM-ATL RT in DEc 08. I guess the trick is to be flexible a day or two each way

Just checked my SA flights, and a couple new BE flights were available, so...
SFO-SLC-CLT in F (CLT for xmas!)
CLT-ATL-EZE in F/BE (EZE for new years!)
SCL-ATL-SFO in BE/F
Three legs for 90,000 miles!

following a less than stellar DL first class experience to HNL last year which burned 150,000 miles for two of us (see link for tedious details)
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=739902
I put it upon myself to use my DL miles but on another's metal for our trip this fall. A miracle for certain as the clouds parted and in March I was able to book for Nov-Dec travel:
BNA-MSP-HNL on NW A330 in F
HNL-IAH-BNA on CO B767 in Y
both tickets for total of 110,000 miles with $20 fees.
wow.
