Just booked a one way ticket in D1 for next April GRU - ATL - CDG - MPL for 90K Skypesos. GRU - ATL alone is 190K, ATL - MPL alone runs a cool 375K pesos. Awards structure originating in GRU aeems similar to the ex MEX TATL award structure.

Not that they are all that much cheaper, but ATL-MPL actually starts at 200K each way with a roundtrip/open-jaw booking (and you meet 90 day AP). ATL-GRU starts at 145K each way with a roundtrip booking (123.2K with Amex discount). Non-hostage hubs tend to have lower award levels available. BOS-MPL D1 awards start at 145K each-way with roundtrip booking.

Burned a bunch of Skypesos on various Domestic Trips with companion(s). Now down to about 71K left in the account.
Restructured BOS-TPA next month to BOS-MCO instead saving another 1K (this was originally a BOS-MCO that I had moved to BOS-TPA to save miles)
Booked 2nd companion on Saver Fare SNA-ATL-MCO July 4 (refunded AA Award via DFW). This matches the return routing I and first companion already had booked as a companion fare MCO-LAX/SNA-ATL-MCO.
Booked MCO-LGA-PVD-ATL-MCO r.t. for October.for long end of season Cape Cod weekend.
Booked 1 Saver(!) and 2 Main MCO-LAX Thanksgiving Day. The Saver Fare was for 2nd companion who would not be upgrade eligible anyway..
Booked LAX-DTW-PVD midweek after T-Day.
Booked PVD-ATL-MCO following Sunday evening.
Except for Saver, all segments upgraded to Comfort+ and include a companion. 1st upgrades on request. Taking advantage of the 15% reduction while I still have the appropriate CC. I didn't keep close track, but I think I burned just over 100K on 12 o.w. tickets (ignoring the initial restructured trip) only 2 of which were Saver..

Booked SEA to LAS for 26,700 miles on a ticket that would normally cost $416 excluding the Aviation Security Service Fee of $11.20 which included the AMEX Delta 15% discount. Ended up being 1.56 cent / mile redemption which I was happy with, even without the mileage discount the redemption rate would be 31,500 or 1.32 cent / mile. Seemed like a pretty good redemption option...

Booked 3 economy LAX to AKL in March 2024 for 44,000 each. Screaming deal and great use of skymiles that I have been trying to use up for years.

not within 72 hours, and I've used it for delays and other reasons - it does pay for itself.

Booked 3 one-way tickets MCO-BOS for my family at 10.6k miles each (after the 15% Amex discount), and then upgraded all 3 to F using RUCs (some might argue that this isn't a good value for a RUC, but I'd rather use them than hold on to them for some possible better option later that may not materialize, and the upgrade cost was an extra 16k miles/person). Given the refundable coach fare for the same flight, I'm getting 2c/mile value out of this. Not bad, I think.
