Tiny deal.... downgrade of delta drinks selection?

Flew first from IAD to SEA yesterday. Asked for one of those canned old fashioneds, which are pretty good IMHO. Attendant said they are no longer supplied (margarita gone too). Asked for a bourbon and they only had jack. Used to offer Woodward.

They still offer Woodford. Probably a catering issue.

Yep, catering issue. The only changes I am aware of is the addition of rum (finally - its Bacardi but beggars can't be choosers and its the same as they used to carry), bourbon cream (replaces Bailey's - have not tried it), and a canned bloody Mary that replaces the margarita (the margarita was not very good so no loss there - have not tried the bloody mary).

That's a good replacement -- I did a mileage run to DEN in 2021 and they had that stocked and it was excellent. The FA actually gave me a little bag with the last 2 they had on board (along with the matching old fashioned kits they had provisioned from WhistlePig) to take with me

The margarita was so, so bad. Glad they dumped it.

ok, as much as I like Woodford, WP Rye wins in a heartbeat

for those who may not be aware, Alaska is replacing Woodford with Buffalo Trace :/

Another reason to expect the continuing unavailability of Buffalo Trace in the mid-Atlantic region.

I flew Southwest over Christmas, ordered a Wild Turkey and was told they didn't have any, but had Jack. I was like, it'll do I guess.

Is there a canonical menu somewhere of what is at least notionally supposed to be catered at any given moment? Flew DTW-SFO shortly after the new year and the FA claimed that Tip Top cocktails were going away permanently.

My bachelor party was to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and I had a barrel (now bottled) of Makers Mark with my name on it.

She is at least somewhat aware

Asked for the Old Fashioned over these past few weeks on JFK-FCO, both outbound and inbound, and they did not have it. The FA did not say it is not supplied anymore, but made an effort to look for it both times.
Since the drink menu is fully digital, it would be a small effort on DL's part to eliminate the entry, if they don't stock it anymore.
