My fault. I should've clarified. This is for my return journey of VIE-AMS-JFK (KL award on KL metal) and was questioning on benefits if at all for linking my DL membership number to it.

Disregard...found the answer. It is a no.

Hey Folks, anyone aware of anything that restricts you from collecting DELTA MQM's by using an ecredit ?
I have an unused eticket and need just a few more MQM's. Just checking before I waste it on a quick turnaround mileage run.

Tickets booked using ecredits earn MQMs etc exactly the same as cash.

When flying partner airlines and crediting to Skymiles (Skymiles number is on the boarding pass), almost every time I have to manually submit a mileage retro credit request and when doing so I include a picture of the boarding pass. After doing so and waiting for a week or two, I then have to contact Delta about the request. When contacting Delta, they say they cannot see that I attached my boarding pass with the request, every single time I submit a request. Then I need to email them a copy of the boarding pass again to finally receive mileage credit.

Am I doing something wrong?? It shouldn't be this difficult and time consuming. At least Delta has a iMessage option

You should fill out the form on their website to request mileage credit. Sending it to them via iMessage is not the right way to do it. It will take them up to 21 business days to process your web form. I have just completed a process like that with them. And I agree they should be automatically in the whole Skyteam like it is with Star Alliance

Should clarify that I submit the request online on delta.com but a week or two later, I use iMessage to ask for a status update regarding my request. That's when they informed me they cannot see the boarding pass attachment.

If you did not share your case number with Delta on iMessage they were unable to look. Also the Customer Support agents via social networks are not the same as those handling the missing miles requests (those are Skymiles agents). I did the same and was told all that and also that the processing time is 14-21 US working days.

Hmm that's interesting

I just ask on iMessage for them to transfer me to a Skymiles specialist and then when they tell me to email them a copy of my boarding pass, the miles are credited within 24 hours.

Yeah, they told me something completely different. By flying which airline were those miles earned? I flown Saudia.

I repeat the same process every time, regardless of which airline I flew.

Been a while since I have had Delta Status; if I aim for Delta Diamond:

What is the real value of the RUCs and GUCs?

I just booked a ORD-ICN-BKK DL-coded, KE-operated flight. The DL website says 1 bag, but KE should provide 2? Will they really restrict due to having a DL code?

First time flying internationally as Gold, which gives me SkyTeam Elite Plus, which in turn gives me access to SkyTeam lounges. I'm flying over CDG/AMS in Main cabin. Do I need to do anything to be able to access AirFrance/KLM lounges in respective airports? Will they automatically recognize my SkyTeam status based on my boarding pass?
