It's SNOWING. Huge flakes. It looks white when I look out the window. Temperature is 35 F, so the ground shouldn't stay white.

ADDED: It looked like a blizzard here for a bout five minutes. Then the snow became some little light flurries before disappearing.

The roads were white during rush hour about forty miles northwest of me.

Where's Buddy? Do you take him only to breweries and not to wineries?

I like the encouraging sign along the walk for wine.

I sure wouldn't want to taste any poison ivy flavored wine. If your throat swells up, it could be a medical emergency. Scary.

no, we didn’t take Bubba on a 3+ hour drive and an overnight (plus, we have a bunch of doggie day-care visits to use by the end of the month)

the one at the top (out of focus) says “You’re Almost There!”

lol indeed ... not even close; poison ivy is seldom if at all found in WA (plus it’s generally at ground level or climbing trees)

Love it. My sister's place is near Tsillan. Not a huge fan of the wine, but the location is just spectacular. Enjoy!

Sorry I keep missing Thursdays. Seems to be the after work prospective home tour night. Still no real contenders

drove right by it

according to the people at our last stop (Lake Chelan Winery, the first to open in the area ~2000; sorry, no pix, it was all inside) “Tsillan” is also pronounced “Chelan”

it’s a beautiful Saturday morning in Pateros

we’ll be walking across the hotel parking lot to a little bakery for coffee and breakfast soon, then starting on the long way home (North Cascades Hwy)
