There was a party in Boston I was going to try to attend, but it just got canceled. I'm glad I didn't get bus tickets!

I have a lifetime supply of both. Which means I have none of either.

I think we may need more alcohol. It may be time to hit up some of the online ordering sites for wine.

I was disappointed to learn the story of the drone wine delivery to the quarantined cruise ship in Japan was just a prank. https://factcheck.afp.com/australian...very-story-was

Are people working from home or worrying from home?

BTW, I know some Chinese nationals living in the USA who have now decided to suddenly return home to mainland China, partly to be near worrying parents/family, despite the various types of "costs" to them of doing so. Some of it is a matter of deferring to parents but I suspect part is not wanting to be trapped in the USA, especially during an epidemic.

My grad school program is already online, so I think I have a little bit of a leg up on everyone else. I have class tomorrow night.

I was looking forward to having Monday nights free for the next several weeks, as my favorite restaurant and bar has chicken wing night on Mondays. Now with everything closed for the foreseeable future, I won't be able to partake

My company had been optional WFH, now mandatory, and there's now a shelter-in-place order for the Bay Area:

after 10pm tonight, restaurants in the Seattle area can still provide delivery and take-out ... I’m curious if breweries, distilleries, wineries, etc that are (presumably) staying open for production will be able to accommodate retail sales

One of our favorite Latin American restaurants here (with locations both in my neighborhood and the next one over) is offering delivery of sangria. I am looking forward to drinking it and supporting them!
