Not any more than I. Hving worked in both of those places, I would think that a nonstop on that route would be valuable to two or three people a day (a week?).

I understand now. I'm wishing for it too. DTW is my favourite entry point to the USA. All it needs is a clubhouse (SkyClubhouse?) and i'm happy.

+1. But as a Spokane area resident who occasionally cruises out of Florida, I may be a little biased. Sure, we have a few connections available through SLC & MSP, but ATL would open up a whole new world of possibilities. Last year, AA added GEG-DFW and UA GEG-ORD. Both are doing well (I assume, since they are still on the schedule). The other missing link at GEG would be a UA GEG-IAH, but I guess that would belong in the UA forum.

They flew that from 2007-2008 during their ExpressJet days. Maybe it'll come back.

A350 to MEL (Melbourne, Australia)? Maybe.
A350 to MLB (Melbourne, Florida)? Doubtful.

I just did JFK-MSP-GEG and, as a DM, was like 4th on the UG list by OLCI for MSP-GEG, with the list numbering well into the teens. This was a Friday morning, but if loads are looking that good, I would expect a 739 to ATL would be feasible, and would be huge for getting all over the southeast in one stop.

I know a few of us had mentioned we wanted VPS/PNS to anywhere other than ATL. Well, today I saw AA is adding ORD-both (seasonally), bringing the number of destinations served from PNS to 5 and VPS to 4. Meanwhile, DL still only serves 1--ATL. SMH. Reminded me of this thread and how much I wished there were more options!

Now here's hoping they're set up for a good number of connecting flights in Chicagoland. United's PNS-ORD hasn't seemed to work well the times I've tried to use that to get east coast or transatlantic.

Thumbs down Consistent Year Round MSP-HNL

This route is always subject to schedule changes and modifications of the seasonal service. I had booked a ticket for MSP-HNL in December, the scheduled equipment was a 777, and then the non-stop schedule frequency changed and I ended up on a MSP-SEA-HNL 757.

I just wish this route was year round and with the same consistent equipment.
