Not anymore. They were spun off as a separate entity (which they were prior to being acquired in 2002) in early 2014.

After the letdown that was AA's new uniforms, I have to say I'm quite pleasantly surprised; they look great. Though interestingly, the FA uniforms seem to scream "Virgin Atlantic" to me.

Is it my tired eyes, or do some look rather purple?

I wonder what the non-red coat male GA uniforms look like (i.e. what color is their jacket/vest)?

This one? No epaulettes on the shoulder and no custom-designed wings.
Nothing new for the flightdeck?

I think you are right. I hadn't noticed the different color/fabric on the collar. It seems the FA's have a slightly different color collar (but could be lighting in the photos too).

Indeed it looks very VA-style, but still one of the best and most stylish work clothes among the mainline airlines in the US.
The purple could be an indication of something new coming to the corporate identity of DL?

Cheers!

I suspect the purple is being pulled from a supplemental color palette that will be part of the rumored brand refresh in 2017.

Supplemental color palettes are becoming more common in corporate branding (my field). They are a series (~8-12) of colors designed to compliment the core palettes (red and blue in Delta's case) and add variety in the branded materials.

Very purple. I notice one of the screaming purple shirts says tech ops on the arm. I wonder how telling mechanics they will match their daughter's bedroom is going to go over.

There's nothing for pilots in the current collection. The whole process started when the pilots and Delta were still in contract negotiations. Not sure if that played a part — or not.

Came here to say that while I don't like Delta much, these uniforms do look good. Quite Virgin'ish with the purple.

Not sure I'd put Westin, Grey Goose, and TUMI in the sexy category! Let's aspire to be tired road warriors!

Purple is interesting and different, but struggle with the color not being visible in the rest of the Delta branding.
