This wiki is intended to contain a list of opportunities to fly internationally configured wide-body aircraft within the United States, aside from the usual JFK-LAX/SFO 767s and newer domestic DeltaOne routes. This is a collaborative wiki, not an OP-maintained thread; please contribute by editing the wiki directly as you become aware of regularly scheduled or repositioning flights. Schedules change far more frequently than community members have time to update this wiki; therefore please verify the equipment before purchasing a flight.

JFK-LAS
JFK-PHX
JFK-SAN
JFK-SEA
JFK-SFO
JFK-SLC
LAX-KOA
SEA-KOA
SEA-OGG

Positioning / one-offs:
SLC-SEA
SLC-LAS
SLC-BOS 4x a week
BOS-LAX
JFK-MEX
JFK-SJU
LAX-HNL

one way to search for these on ITA

This Delta Cargo schedule lists wide body routes by region.

Looks like the A350 is running between LAX and ATL, Sunday only Red-Eye to ATL, Monday evening only return to LAX. Through Sept. 6th

Nice surprise for PHX, might mean some lower tier elites will see an upgrade they wouldn't otherwise ^

I see this only on September 7 (Labor Day itself). Looks to be a continuation from the NRT-HNL flight that day and may be a repositioning move of some sort? Also coincides with reduction in the NRT-HNL service from 3X to 2X most weekdays.

Get it while it's hot I guess.

I don't exactly know how to check (other than searching day-by-day) if this flight is temporary/repositioning or if it is part of long-term schedule. It showed up on at least two different dates in mid-July. The DM agent I spoke with was surprised to see it as an option, so I don't know what to think.

DL836 HNL-ATL. Depart 3:50PM Arrive 6:08AM (+1). Flight time is 8 Hours and 18 Minutes.

I hope this post helps some of you to jump on this as well!
I see a DL 744 at the gate in HNL today. It's simultaneously thrilling and heartbreaking (because no one flies this domestically anymore, really) to see the bird!

Any way to verify accuracy of 747-400, Sept 8?

I just noticed that according to the WIKI, DL 836/837 ATL-HNL-ATL ceases to be a 747 on September 7. It used to say September 8.

Any way to verify this? I have a friend who is flying on September 8 and booked the flight just to ride UD 747. I would hate to stir up the pot if not true, however, I'd like to let him know if it truly is stopping on Sept 7.

I tried a dummy booking and it still shows 747 on Sept 8, and just called Diamond line and was told 747 running on Sept 8.

Help anyone? Thanks.

Looks correct on the flight schedule page for 9/8. Goes to A333 the next day, 9/9.

Doesn't look like a revenue flight but DL9936 is flying SEA-JFK today to replace the aircraft from the 245 FCO-JFK flight that diverted to KEF and cancelled. The aircraft from SEA is going to do the JFK-CDG flight tonight several hours delayed. Ouch!
