This wiki is intended to contain a list of opportunities to fly internationally configured wide-body aircraft within the United States, aside from the usual JFK-LAX/SFO 767s and newer domestic DeltaOne routes. This is a collaborative wiki, not an OP-maintained thread; please contribute by editing the wiki directly as you become aware of regularly scheduled or repositioning flights. Schedules change far more frequently than community members have time to update this wiki; therefore please verify the equipment before purchasing a flight.

I am going end of June. This will be my 7th trip. Prices for this route have been surprisingly stable over the years (747 made no difference in price). It is hard to find that flight for less than 180,000 miles or $2500. Connecting cities can affect the pricing. Are you trying to connect to Hawaiian Air? That can add $500 to the flight, even if they stick you in coach (When FC fills on HA the price you pay through Delta.com will not go down even though your last segment will be in coach) Usually cheaper to buy separate ticket on HA even though you may have to recheck bags. Also, day of the week can add a thousand dollars to flight. Saturday flights are very popular. Hope this helps.

I just flew 763 domestic last week when they up-gauged MSP-PHX. I'm pretty used to F on A319/320 and I have to say the 763 is worse. The shoulder room is cramped. The seats in general, even with a newly refreshed cabin and seat covers, felt uncomfortable. Luckily the 763 domestic is ultra rare O/D MSP.

It most certainly does. Thanks so much. Also is there a reason why the return is consistently more expensive than the outbound?
This is a general question, but I just wanted to confirm that booking a round trip can still save miles compared to 2 separate one-ways. In other words they aren't going completely southwest on us. I ask because they got rid of stopovers on round trip awards.

Makes sense. Looking at the seating chart, plane is packed almost every day. Thanks Denal. Appreciate it.

There appears to be an A330-300 flight on SEA-JFK on Apr 6. Not seeing it on any other days (and appears to be at a time not usually operated on that route) so must be a one-off to move an aircraft around.

I think the A319/320 still have a few inches of width over the 763. Can't speak on any first-hand experience in those though.
I had a SEA-ATL run on a 763 a few months ago in F in a window seat. The person in front of me was fully reclined and even with the person next to me out of their seat, I still had to make some weird maneuvers to get out of my seat. (For reference, I'm only a 5'8, 150lb guy). Also made getting anything out of my bag under the seat really difficult without my face being nearly pressed against that seat.
