Question on
v01: Closest airport to home address and
v04: Preferred departure airport/city
Should be the same for most i guess? In my case v01 is the closest airport DL flies into with their own metal as they don't fly into my v04 (TXL).

This is part of the whole new data mining and sharing crap for the new airline booking system where they are going to give us different prices based on all of that data.

Yeah - who really knows what the CustValSeg really means. For all we know it's some coded customer profile (1 - suckers). As for me, I'm an FO with a Custvalseg of 1. I typically fly sLUTVX fares - and I occasionally MR. I do have a mix of higher fares for work-related events, though.

As for the experian mosiac codes, it appears to me that these have little to do with your demographics or the perceived house value/income/discretionary spending. I believe that based on some information from experian that it's almost all zip code.

I do not have SunTrust and I have only two N's -- one of which is v10 so V10 is SunTrustInd and V36 is smAmexCntrnInd.

As for V24 -- mine is HBEHEEK which is 2012113 -- in the Jan dump that was "skyClubRnlDt" -- It makes sense that it would be 3/1/2012 for DM who don't have a paid membership. I do, so mine is different.

Can you see somebody at Delta saying "Hey, we'll fool them -- we'll encode everything and they won't be able to figure it out."

It would be more concerning to me if they did this with GDS searches.
(Plus, dismantling a GDS isn't easy.)

v13 appears to be the hotel loyalty programs stored in your DL.com profile. Mine returns "XXJ, CXW", which decodes into "SHR, HHC" using Key 2. My two stored hotel loyalty programs are Starwood Preferred Guest (Starwood Hotels and Resorts = SHR) and Hilton Hotels (Hilton HHonors Club= HHC).

IIRC the old version had a SC date and it's March 1 for most of those who get SC via DM.

Why do people store hotel loyalty programs in their DL profile? I would never book hotels through DL so they only need to know about my SPG status for Crossover.

I did it initially in the hopes of getting a few extra targeted promotions.
