...and by brief, I do not mean underwear.

Please use the format below for consistency purposes. Date and chronological order might be helpful as well. Thank you.

Trashed Airplane Garbage and trash filled the seats of an Airbus A332 aircraft after the conclusion of a Philadelphia Eagles charter flight from Seattle to Philadelphia last year. Photograph posted by FlyerTalk member tod701 on December 12, 2013.

Fair enough. Maybe a thread of "passengers blatantly breaking Delta rules" is needed.

What if he had his feet on the bulkhead WHILE he was using his laptop gate to gate

I would prefer "passengers blatantly putting others at risk." Many of Delta's rules are silly and pointless, but not this one.

Probably the same people who leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot.
Aren't those picked up by the people who use bus lanes?

While I'm not sticking up for any pax using a laptop gate to gate, Delta.com says this:

Which devices can I use during all phases of flight?

You may use the following devices from gate to gate on Delta and Delta Connection flights:

• AM/FM or satellite radios
• digital and video cameras
• calculators
• Delta-installed equipment such as in-flight entertainment systems
• DVD players*
• e-readers
• electric shavers
• electronic/digital watches
• global positioning system (GPS) receivers
• handheld computer games
• headphones
• laptop computers*
• medical devices**, ***
• noise reduction headphones
• portable media players*
• pagers
• smartphones and any device with cellular network service must be turned off or in airplane mode
• tablets and wireless keyboards or mouse

PED use on the ground and during takeoff and landing should be limited to small, lightweight devices less than 2 lbs. These devices should be of a size that could easily be secured in a seat pocket without exceeding the designed weight capacity of 3 lbs. including all contents of seat pocket (safety card, Sky magazine, airsickness bag) and not impede emergency egress to the aisle.

* DVD players, laptop computers, and other devices that exceed the size/weight restrictions must be stowed for taxi, takeoff and landing.

Bolding mine.

So, I guess the pursers will soon be required to carry a scale on every flight, or else they may get into a tiff with a snooty 360.

I had someone sitting next to me on Monday with a behemoth laptop that was in use from boarding to landing. I know it weighed +/- 6 lbs. because I used to have the same model. It is obvious to anyone who looks at it that it weighs much more than 2 lbs. The lead FA stopped to tell the person to raise his seat and totally ignored the laptop. Had we been experiencing a smooth approach, I wouldn't have been concerned. But we were experiencing some pretty decent turbulence. He did have to grasp it at the last minute when we had a pretty hard landing. Thankfully, no harm, no foul this time. But I'd prefer the FAs pay a little more attention.

This would be best, while in a middle bulkhead seat, shoe and sockless with your bare tootsies on the bulkhead, while using your 6 pound laptop, eating peanuts!

Sorry, I couldn't find a pic!

This doesn't qualify as disgusting, but I don't think there's a thread for carry-on abuses, so for lack of a better place to post this... I thought this person was pushing things a bit...
