My card is still on the way, but I can see a credit limit that is available now if I need it. Is that the final limit or will it go up once I activate my card?

That sucks. My mom’s card got hit twice. Good news is that you won’t have to relink rent payments.

Nice deal from Bilt:

Terms are here:

I can confirm that this is targeted!

I got the email, made a qualifying charge, and already got the bonus points. My wife did not get the email, I made the same charge on her account, and she did not get the bonus.

Is there any minimum purchase amount for the 1,000 points?

On my one that came through so far, I just did $1.

That's all I needed to know. I'll see everyone in the shutdown thread next... :D

no, is that quite common still?

I don’t know how common it is. For a little while I was considering getting the card when the word was that everyone gets the offer. But that was quickly rescinded, and frankly I have enough other cards with guaranteed SUB on my radar that I don’t feel like gambling with Bilt.

Just got my card today. Haven't heard anything about a 5x bonus for the first 5 days...does that mean I didn't get it?

I did a $1 transaction with one of the listed merchants and received 1001 points, so I also confirmed along with the previous data point that there is not a minimum transaction amount (at least at $1).

Hey... so I applied and got the Bilt card and it came today. But I'm not getting that email of the 10X Bilt points for the first few days of getting a Bilt card?! Is that promo over?!

(I’m away from home, writing this on an iPad while lying on a hotel bed at 4am, can’t figure out how to post a link and apologize for any memory related inaccuracies.)

I can’t speak for everybody, but as of about 2 months ago, when I was approved for my Bilt MC and I wrote the Wiki for this thread, many people, myself included, on the day they received their Bilt card, received an email and text notification of a quasi-SUB as per the middle of my post #332 on this thread.

The quasi-SUB offer stipulated 5X total points (standard 1 point + 4x bonus points thus $12.5K maximum) to 50K points for all charges (except rent) during the first five days after Bilt card receipt.

Please update YOUR experiences over the next few days, might very well be the new normal. As has been discussed, some people believe the Bilt business model to be NOT sustainable, eliminating this quasi-SUB would seem to be a significant cost savings for Bilt.

I sent a message through their website just asking to confirm that there was no sign-up offer attached to the card and they responded that they would notify me if there are any offers on the card. Since they didn't, I'm assuming no. Bummer, but not as important as getting points for paying rent.

I don't think it was ever 10x, but it was effectively 5x for some.

But whoever referred you got 10K points for it right now.

What's a quasi-SUB? Did you receive an email about it? Or notification in the app? It's my 3rd day after receiving the card (and they didn't Fedex/UPS it as well), and I still got no notice of the 5X offer
