Read post 844 for tips on being approved for the business card.
It may be easier to get approved for a new business with 0 years and $0 gross income.

Also see the Applying for Business Credit Cards [Consolidated] thread (not-BofA-specific) for general tips on applying for business cards.

Business card Recon Line:
April 2024: BOA Biz Recon (Small Biz Lending, Credit Analyst) 888-782-7717, 888-569-4439 (M-F 8am-7pm EST), both answered by live human in 2-4 minutes. (Both numbers confirmed multiple times in the past 2-3 days.)
866-695-6598 (8-7pm EST M-F)
Biz card status line: 888 663 6262 (not working)
Biz Card credit analyst line: 888-782-7717
Biz card expedited shipping: wait 24 hours after approval for a card number to generate then call 800-901-9830 and a person will answer. If 1st Rep says "no" ask him/her to ck. with a supervisor. This worked for me.

Credit Inquiries
Credit Inquiries for Personal cards come from BofA. Inquiries for business cards come from FIA.
Credit bureaus usually merge inquiries from the same requester made on the same day.
Inquiries from BofA and FIA will not be merged.

Does one have to call BoA to lower a card's credit limit?
Yes, there is no longer any way to contact BOA online. Phone is the only method currently.

When do the initial bonus miles post? You will get the miles after the statement closes for the cycle in which you meet your minimum spend. Usually AS points show up the Sunday evening after your statement closes, but sometimes it takes an additional week.

If there's a statement credit, when does it post?
It seems to be batch-processed. It will post automatically. Can be on the same statement or the next statement. It does not appear to be based on the statement close date.

Can you send a secure message through your account online?
No. BOA has removed the secure message functionality, even for Preferred members. The only way to contact BOA now is to call them.

Can I apply for another personal Alaska card if I have one open already?
Some people still can, but these days many people get denied. If you don't want to risk getting denied, it's probably better if you close any existing personal Alaska cards before applying for another one. But be sure to lower credit limit as low as possible at least a few business days before you close the card (though the earlier you can do it the better), because credit limit that's left on the card when you close it stays unavailable to new card applications for a year or more (while credit limit that's lowered as a separate step becomes available to new card applications much sooner)!

I opened a new biz account in mid February, wondering if BofA would consider extending the 90 day period to earn enrollment bonus for minimum spend due to CV19?

Targeted 50K offer

Seems like BoA is sending targeted 50K offers. My wife got one in the mail. We applied yesterday and were instantly approved.

Preselected Mail Offer and AK Visa 24 month rule

I also received a 50K offer in the mail for the personal card saying I was preselected for the card and given a personal secure code to apply. Don't see any language in the letter about the 24 month rule, and I closed my last AK personal visa card in Sept 2018, so I haven't quite met the 2 years yet. Does anyone know if these preselected mailings allow you to still get the bonus and bypass this requirement? I searched through this thread and a couple other sites and couldn't find any info on this. Any help appreciated. Thanks

UPDATE: Called BofA today (April 27), agent appeared to check available information, reported that enrollment bonus period has been extended for their own cash back card, but no available information on the Alaska (business) card. Agent first attempted to send me to the Alaska website, eventually agreed to send a note to the "back office", provided an incident number. Agent would not provide a phone number for the "back office", suggested I would receive a snail mail notice of any changes.
I then decided to reach out to AS on twitter, agent sent me back to BofA.
UPDATE 2: Made several attempts to call back on May 8; was cut off after a few minutes on hold, system offered a callback on the second attempt. Agent was not helpful, refused to help with the incident number, would only connect me with Alaska - on a line which eventually dropped. I then called the Alaska MVPG line myself, agent was sympathetic, insisted the issue was BofA's responsibility. I then called a local branch, agent was sympathetic, insisted they have no access to such systems, unable to assist.
MUCH better news in May 9:

Your new credit card rewards bonus offer has been extended.
With everything going on right now, we're giving you an extra 90 days to meet the terms of the
Bank of America® AIaska Airlines® Business Card bonus offer you received when you opened your credit card account. We don't want you to worry about missing the offer.
You can find your bonus offer in the materials you received when you opened your account between
January 1 and March 31, 2020.
Thank you for being a valued client.

No idea if this is a result of my specific inquiry, or sent to everyone who received a business card during the first quarter.

Data point, I applied for the personal card on 2/16 and got an automatic extension for 90-days by email on 4/17.

BofA granting extensions to personal accounts, but not business?
