Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.
Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

anybody got jetblue reimbursed recently?
bought a bunch of incidentals, but for some reason they posted cumulatively as a >$350 amount (instead of separately)
so now a bit worried they wont be reimbursed. still waiting...

i guess i will try sw if it doesnt work but hope that's not necessary.

Activated Gogo wifi passes. Waited a day, they no longer show in my Gogo account on the ground (i.e. not on a flight). I could have sworn that they used to show on the ground. Is anyone still able to see your Crystal passes on the ground?

Same issue for me...
I just renewed passes and not seeing them in my account. Been a while since my last gogo logon (ground & air) but, like you, was quite sure they were showing somewhere.
Did get from confirmation email from gogo/Visa

Why is everyone cancelling this card instead of downgrading?

I was able to downgrade to the Visa Signature Card via my relationship manager, which has no AF and retains some useful benefits. Seems like a no brainer?

I was thinking about downgrading, but have a question. Do the points earned on the Crystal card simply transfer over to the Visa Signature Card, and if so, are they still worth 1.5X for travel redemptions?

Yes points will transfer.

I dont understand your questions regarding 1.5x redemption. You should consult their website which has a clear comparison of the cards

I appreciate your quick reply. I have looked at their website, but what I was referring to is if one point equates to 1.5 cents when redeemed for travel. For example when booking a $150 a night hotel room on the website under my Crystal account, 10000 points would be required. In other words, are the points worth the same amount towards travel redemptions on the signature card, as they are on the infinite card?

This seems interesting, to downgrade the card.

Also curious where do you see the 1.5x redemption message?

Maybe I am not careful but I am not seeing the redemption rate message on website.

Thanks for the info. This might be a good way.

Btw, do you happen to know if the concierge would still be a reliable way to cash out the points (buy ticket and cancel. keep the airline voucher instead of CNB points)

My apologies for any confusion in my post, as I was confusing the redemption rate with another card. A CNB Crystal point is worth 1.2 cents when redeemed for travel, and I just wanted to inquire if that redemption rate is the same for the signature card.

Good idea, i don't really have a good way to use my points any time soon so downgrading and keeping the points make sense.

Did you keep the same card number? I've only seen one other person successfully product change and they ended up with a new card number.

We got new card numbers, and frankly there is nothing useful about the downgraded cards. Maybe if you want to save your points or something but given the way these guys do no knock devaluations, I'd just cash out to Amazon and be done with them.

Crystal was great back in the old days, now if you want a hard to get card, there are a lots of better ones.

Yeah my reason for preserving the points would have been to keep using the Crystal Concierge for point redemptions - which the Visa Sig would NOT allow. Pretty much no reason to downgrade other than AAoA.
