Update Nov. 27, 2019-- The US program is being discontinued and existing cardholders will earn "First Class Miles" as of Feb 1, 2020. Canadian residents can still apply for the Aeroplan miles earning card.

TD is known to have delays in posting miles to Aeroplan accounts. You might even see your AC# in the online pdf statements, but often this number is not in something called a "Rewards Summary" section. For thoe who apply for this card, you could call even before the first statement generates and pretend that you are not sure if you provided your AC# when filling your application. Ask them to check the "Rewards Summary" section and see if there is an AC#.

Be prepared for long hold times.

Bonus does not count, normal spend does.

Card arrived today. Also in the mail (separate mailing) was my PIN. But I seem to have destroyed the scratch off security doohicky and couldn't read it.

I fly ANC-YYZ frequently but usually on DL or AS. Just checked the aeroplan redemption for this route and it gives me pretty decent value, along with not having any accounts at TD I jumped on this. Applied over the weekend and got the message I would be notified by mail if approved. Called TD on Monday (number from previous post) and told me the card is in the mail.

I think 25k miles for $1k spend with no fee is not bad, having plowed through most other cards.

My application was sent to review but two weeks later the card showed up. Then my first purchase (for the minimum spend) flagged the fraud department. :-)

Did you guys receive your PIN first before the card?

Received the PIN last Saturday, but still no sign of the card...

Wonder if it's possible to meet the minimum spend/MS on this card by funding the TD GO debit card with it? Anyone try this yet?

Applied, no instant decision. Told it normally takes 7-10 business days.

Actually takes TD 15 days to get their cards to you. Super slow snail's pace!

Unhappy Card says Visa "Signature" but Visa says is card is a "Classic"

I got this card and the physical card says Visa Signature underneath it. I am trying to hit the minimum spend with regular everyday charges so I was about to put a charge for award ticket taxes onto it thinking it will have the Visa Signature trip delay/interruption benefits that are more common with the Chase UA/Marriott/Hyatt Visa Signature cards.

I called Visa to confirm and after being disconnected 3 times in row (lousy customer service), Visa told me that my TD Bank Aeroplan credit card (USA based) is a Classic card in their system. I am told them the physical card says "Signature" on it but Visa says that's not what they see on their end.

Glad I found out before I made the purchase assuming trip delay/interruption benefits would be there just in case it is needed.

Anyone try loading their Amex Serve with this? Does TD code it as cash advance?

Turns out that was a terrible idea. Charged $1, now pending as cash advance (whereas adding the card to Serve was a purchase $0 charge). About to get hit with a $10 cash advance fee.

Update: Posted as purchase after all!

Has anyone applied for a second card while the first was still open and received the bonus miles? Applied after closing the first card?

Yes, you can use this card to load your TD VISA Buxx cards. Can't confirm yet that it earns miles. Anyone with experience?

Tried to get a second card but received a rejection letter that stated the following:

We have carefully reviewed your request, but are unable to approve your request at this time for the following reason(s):
YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH US (their caps)

Has anyone closed their account and then tried to get the bonus again?
