I also received the 2x segment qualification promo. After a four-segment flight last week, my online flight activity does show credit for two segments per one flown. Showed up as soon as my four flight segments did, just a few days after my flights. No delay.

But I was going to requalify for Gold status anyway with the miles I earned on this trip. So now I ended up requalifying both via segments and miles.

To be clear, the offer I received wasn't for 2x segments, it was simply "fly 12 segments and get Pres Plat."

But strangely, now that I look at my account, I have been accruing 2x segments since the offer, except in one case, where they only allotted me one. These were all relatively last-minute flights, so maybe that's a fare type thing. The website also still shows that I have 10 segments left to reach gold, even though I already qualified for gold via their segment offer.

Anyone get a notice?

I flew the 12 segments to comply with the offer to requalify as a Presidential Platinum. This was in the offer I received:
5. The status obtained will be awarded no later than January 4th, 2017.
No email received, nothing notable on my ConnectMiles account. Miles accumulation reset to zero. The unused upgrade certificates are still shown, expiring 12/31/2016. ConnectMiles card still expiring 2/2017.

Same thing. Got the offer; flew the 12 segments before Dec. 15, and still no notice that I requalified for next year and no new upgrades deposited.

I made PP on the double segments offer. The status was posted a few days after I made status in late December, but I had to dispute some flights during the process.

While it may not be related to your cases as you guys received the fly X segments offer, here are a couple of things to check to insure you qualified:

- The promotion is valid only for flights booked and flown between September 15 and December 15, 2016. (I had some flights that were booked prior to 9/15 and did not receive double segments)

- A flight segment is defined as a flight with one takeoff and one landing. (They tried to only award one segment for a trip that included PTY-SJO-GUA on the same flight # until I made them aware of their one take off one landing definition of a flight segment)

The COPA website remains terrible and their call center representatives are not knowledgeable nor empowered to resolve issues. The Gate Agents are even worse.

I really want to like COPA, but I have EX PLAT on AA in addition to PP on COPA. The way AA treats EP is leaps and bounds above how COPA PP's are treated.

Good luck to you guys on resolving your earned status.

My wife hit silver on December 29, and as of Jan 7th her status had not changed. We have a flight on the 13th so I called Connectmiles... they said there was some sort of system error and they they had to put in for a manual change to her status. She got the email yesterday(10th) that she was now Silver.

Might be worth a call to Connectmiles? Her mileage was accurate, it just didn't reflect new status.

I, too, had an issue with the "booked and flown" portion of the email. I had opened the email on my laptop, and I saw nothing indicating that those requirements existed. There was no asterisk, for example. The part I saw simply said that flights from September 15 to December 15 would earn double status miles.

I started booking flights immediately. I had already qualified for EXP on AA, and I wanted to keep PP on CM, too. By the time I figured it out, it was too late.

Fortunately, I have a contact in the executive offices of Copa who eventually granted me the status. The only thing remaining is receipt of the GPUs. My PP status goes through 02/18, but the GPUs never credited.

I'm currently awaiting his reply to my request for the GPUs, and I also offered to be a liaison for Flyertalk members with issues, but he has not yet replied. I suspect that he's on vacation, as he is always quick to respond. Once I have his permission, I'll be happy to assist with ConnectMiles problem resolutions, but he has previously requested that I keep his identity and email private. That's certainly reasonable.

As the president of a much smaller company, everyone always wants to speak to me personally with the easiest issues imaginable for resolution. Every employee we hire who has graduated from "trainee" status has the authority to resolve almost any complaint or problem, but most people want to speak to me. It's incredibly counterproductive, but I do it with a smile on my face every time I must.

status confirmed

I got an email from ConnectMiles today.
Congratulations on maintaining your Presidential Platinum PreferMember status and its exclusive benefits valid until February 2018.

Wait for your new digital credentials at the end of February as we will be transitioning to digital cards and will no longer mail printed cards.
It was recognized with no action on my part.

I also received the email but it says that I achieved Platinum instead of Presidential Platinum, which is incorrect.
