Serendipity. My job sent me on 8 segments. So I arranged for 4 more segments on my own dime. However, there's absolutely nothing shown on my profile on connectmiles.com to indicate any sort of progress to this revised goal. Given the general functionality of the Copa website and their customer service, I don't have a lot of confidence that this target will be easily recognized.
I also received the 2x segment qualification promo. After a four-segment flight last week, my online flight activity does show credit for two segments per one flown. Showed up as soon as my four flight segments did, just a few days after my flights. No delay.
But I was going to requalify for Gold status anyway with the miles I earned on this trip. So now I ended up requalifying both via segments and miles.
