Made it into LHR and currently sitting in the BD lounge waiting for my 8:30 flight over to BRU.

Cloudy as usual in the AM in BRU, but not raining. It actually warms up at night when the wind dies down. Those crowded bars get real warm inside.

Made it onto the Train! Even managed a solid seven hours' sleep on the flight over.

CO 1E and myself made it to the Conrad (nice prop by the way :)) and just finished lunch. Planning on wandering out in a few hours to meet up with everyone.

Back from busy Museum tour (had 2 day pass) - closed some bars after 2am last night. But not up until 1pm - but quick breakfast at 9am. Back in the Marriott lounge - at least cokes, coffee, internet, peanuts - but food service closed for Sat night.
If any one wants in the lounge PM me with an exact time. Now 4:53pm. |

Guess I should have gone to dinner with everybody. showed up at 2015 at poechenellekelder but nobody seemed to be there. so i waited outside til 2100 but did not see anybody come in. i checked inside but did not see any large groups.... no fun

12 in attendance for dinner, 13 for bars
Great dinner at Scheltema. Great atmosphere and food. Perfect place for the group. 3 course meal. Ask J.Edward about the cheese desert! Off to Poeschenellekelder for a couple of nice brews. Able to get two large tables to relax. Off to Delirium Cafe - too crowded - so did not stay. Back to Marriott - to warm up and wait for the group to re-gather. Then to the karaoke bar! With several rounds of brew and singing. And the awards go to: Best lead singer: sbm12 Best rap singer: rolov Best boyband singer: Anglo Large Clawed Otter Best group singer: colpuck Best background singer: notabob Others - Best drinkers! Any special thanks to crawl organizer and planner: sdm1130 ^ Anyone that can remember after that - continue. |
