I checked out Amadeo again. Now open 5:40pm. Large restaurant. Ribs only is 14.50e, with salad and desert 19.75e, or Ribs only with 2 glasses of wine and coffee (no salad) for 21.50e.
About 5 other a la carte meat dishes. Will likely run 30e with drink, salad, etc. The Marriott decided to close their lounge service tonight (even though sign says otherwise and was told otherwise) so we are going out for dinner. But I am not too big on ribs - so if any others going elsewhere - let us know. The Demonstrations appear to have broken up. All appears OK. |

I just got a  from the LUX immigration official when I told him I was only going to be here for about 16 hours. On the plus side, the city bus from the airport to city center is only 1.50 Euro. |

If it were Canada, they would still be exploring you with a camera-mounted colonoscope.

0 EQMs so far this year on CO. <hangs head in shame> But I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on booking 75k worth of UA EQMs within the next few hours. |
My flight from IAH-LHR yesterday was only seven hours and 45 minutes in duration, with nearly fifteen minutes of that being a holding pattern outside LHR. Got the nice coach flatbed (aka three empty seats to myself) and slept for four solid hours.

It's looking like I'll have a bank of 3 on my '67 over <fingers crossed> |

7 of us back from Le Max - great restaurant. Stopped at Irish Pub - but sdm1130, hartmann, notobob could not handle the crowd so they left before getting a 1euro beer. Ask Rolov what he did upstairs on the dance floor.
Wait until Sat night's crawl.!!! 11:25pm |
sdm1130, hartmann, & notabob went off in search of quieter pastures and visited some of the less-frequented pubs that Brussels has to offer instead. I also made further inroads in my quest to sample all six of the fine Belgian Trappist ales. 3 down, 3 to go...
12:35am. At 11:25 we were still drinking! Ha! |
Preparing to board CO 46 in a few. Need to suck down another Whisky Sour at the E PC before I get onboard. Tripp makes a mean one. ^

Google Maps on an iPod is the coolest thing ever. It just let me plan routes between my hotels and all the pubs listed in Page 1 of the thread (thanks, BTW, sdm1130). Now, having said this, I will probably get irretrievably lost.
