I am finally home, my luggage however, is still in BRU.
The KLM agent insisted that my CO codeshare was a KL flight and that I had to abide by the KL carry-on rules. I should have put up more of a fight but I was tired and somewhat incoherent |

Finally home at 1am. Just made the BRU-AMS-EWR connection in AMS due to late KL BRU-AMS. But CO AMS-EWR was on time but arrived to snow. Our 7:30pm EWR-DCA left EWR at 11pm.

I've been getting all the alerts (5 of them) and now see it at just over 5 hours delayed, plus headwinds flying home. I'll probably suck it up and just wait it out. I'm not in that much of a hurry to get back and I only need to make it to EWR, not onward. cova, they won't switch you to UA now because it is now a wx delay, not a mx like it originally posted yesterday. Overall - CO continues to have real bad irregular ops. We need to bring this up at the DO. CO was going to try to improve - but they have not. The problem is the reason for the delay/cancellation always being weather/ATC. |
conditions were pretty bad at EWR yesterday , it started snowing around 1 pm and visibility was very very poor .
The snow did not stop until around 7:15 pm |
Slept for 6 hours on AMS-IAH, then got home and slept for another 12 solid hours. What a weekend. I'm so glad I don't live in BRU, as I'm fairly certain I would have died years ago.
Good to see everyone and meet new folks as well. I'm sure I'll be ready for the next one of these if my liver transplant clears. Oh, God, there was video... |
