I will allow the singers to identify themselves if they wish. Please note that this video is posted in good fun only - I will gladly take it down if someone in the video would like me to.

Enjoy! The guy dancing in front of them is classic... :D

The guy dancing in the fron is Pandy
Hysterical :D

Our aircraft is still in EWR. We are now scheduled to be almost 4 hours late.

It's going to be a long day...

Does CO have kiosks at BRU?

cova Jan 18, 2009 9:50 pm

Yes, Flight 61 is late. I have not received an updated trip alert. Yesterday's trip alerts were:

1. Delayed due to maintenance, departure at 1pm.
2. Then updated and back on schedue.

pda site is down.

Now continental.com shows:

1. Departure at 1:41pm, arrive at 4:16pm. CO blames it on late arriving aircraft.

2. SUnday's CO 60 left at 11:45pm (scheduled 6:30pm), inbound to arrive at 12:36pm this morning versus 7:5am.

CO - I have not received an updated trip alert. Come on CO get your act together. This is crazy. And now CO blames it on ATC (not mechanical) - I have printed out email showing mechanical.

FWIW a quick snow storm came through that had a bit of accumulation on the ground. I'd imagine it would be enough to cause trouble at EWR.

Hartmann and I got moved to BRU-AMS and AMS-EWR/IAH. At least we're guaranteed to get home tonight...

What flight BRU-AMS. They would not put me on UA to IAD nor on any other carrier to AMS.

Now also rebooked on the BRU-AMS-EWR. CO 61 is likely going to be delayed until after 3pm. AMS-EWR is on time.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I've been getting all the alerts (5 of them) and now see it at just over 5 hours delayed, plus headwinds flying home. I'll probably suck it up and just wait it out. I'm not in that much of a hurry to get back and I only need to make it to EWR, not onward.

cova, they won't switch you to UA now because it is now a wx delay, not a mx like it originally posted yesterday.

I am glad that I will be taking the ICE to Munich today instead of flying back through EWR.

BuddyPass Jan 19, 2009 12:08 am

Blah! So, my flight was like 3 1/2 hours delayed due to maintenance. Glad I finally got to work 3 hours late:( Ouch. All to listen to some rediculous karaoke;) It was great meeting you guys. Had a great time and will definitely be up for the next one:) Hope everybody gets home safe. I'm off to HNL in the afternoon;) Getting away from this crap weather.

I got lounge access without flying BF. :D

There is a Regus facility upstairs in the land-side terminal and I get a membership for my Biz AmEx Platinum. Not too shabby.

CO is giving out 8 euro food vouchers for the delay, and letting folks choose to fly tomorrow if they want.

In the KLM lounge at AMS (#52). Very nice lounge but pathetic food offerring. AMS-EWR is on time.

Sitting in the KLM Crown Lounge here in AMS. Transfer desk gave me a BF invite.

We had to put up a little bit of a fight to get rebooked on BRU-AMS-IAH flight. The part that stinks is that I had been upgraded for CLE-IAH as a Silver!

I deny ALL knowledge of the karoke video, I have no knowledge of any of the participants in said video.

Picks of J.Ed errr I mean "Identity witheld to protect the guilty" will be posted when I get back to the states.

update

In LHR waiting on a seat assignment, (all fingers and toes crossed) hoping for an op-up.

Good luck with the op-up. ^

I currently am on the ICE first class headed to MUC at 200 kph to have a personal micro-micro follow-up beer do. I was so inspired by the BRU DO that I could not resist.
Kudos to sdm1130 for taking the lead on this.

I'm glad that everyone had a good time! ^ It was nice meeting some new people and seeing the familiar faces as well. I was very pleased with the turnout!

We'll definitely have to do this again! Do we want to do a repeat in Belgium (possibly add in Antwerp?) or branch out to other countries?
