Personally, I think judicial elections should be non-partisan. I think judges should be beholden to the law, not to any party ideology.

Of course you likely do. However, the use of "both" implies some sort of sharing of or struggle for power, regardless of if it is equitably shared or not. There is no "both" in NJ.
