So, I've had plenty of flights on 738s and 739s recently. Not a single time have I gotten to be on a LiveTV flight. So, yesterday, I was booked on 449 (SFO-EWR) which 2 days out showed that, yet again, I was screwed with an "overhead monitors" flight.
I guess an a/c swap happened and the morning of the flight, it showed LiveTV on the flight! YES! At SFO, I saw the satellite dome on the top of the plane to confirm that FINALLY I would get to be on a LiveTV flight. The TV's never came on. During the F/A's 10000 feet speech, she threw in "oh, and the DirectTV service is in-op on this flight". F***!!!!! I'm now debating booking a flight for no other reason than to get LiveTV finally. Not a milage run, more like a spite run. |

2 of my 3 flights last week were DirecTV equipped (other flight was C:rolleyes:C:rolleyes:). I made the F cabin as low-class as you can get flipping between Blind Date and COPS. :o |
