Unfortunately I was unable to secure the time and I will not be able to see the landing at BFI.

Not A Lurker, sorry things got kerfuffled with your interview.

On other news, :-:wood just launched a new discount code for hotels at home purchases. Just procured some new pillows for The Canuck. @:-)

I can now say I've at least done some Christmas shopping.:eek:

What really sucks is that it's a $552 base fare. Gotta love the taxes/fees.

Can get IAH-FRA for sub-$600a/i, but any connecting flugs are at least $150, so it's pointless.

I can always change my ticket from PRG to another european city if the prices are cheaper to somewhere else.

Speaking of which a delegation from the Senate of Thailand came in right before me. Check in at the front desk was  and I missed the phone interview at 10. I called back in at 10:05 and landed a live interview on Friday.

Sorry about the Thainess.

Gold is good enough usually and Plus1 was offered a $36 upgraded yesterday for DEN-IAH so she doesn't have to sit by herself.

I just did a buy-up for BOS-IAH and it returned an error, I clicked the back button, clicked "purchase" again and got the same error. I go in and look at my reservation and it has ZE as the fare class with me earning 0%. Now I just hope it didn't charge my card twice

They should have waited to roll this out, it's got some major bugs.

FRA is the only cheap city from Teh Pit, and FRA sucks. I'd rather stick to Praha, unless there's somewhere that's decent and relatively cheap from the Northeast (and equally as  in price from IAH).

What about taking a LCC to PRG from FRA? I am sure FR will get you reasonably* close.

*Reasonable is defined as a 200mi radius from the PRG city center.

Alternatively, Strasbourg and/or Cologne are only a short choo-choo ride from FRA. :-:

That can be fun to watch with an untrained eye. Ok it can be fun to watch with a trained eye.

The only real option is Air Berlin and that requires a stop in DUS, which basically requires a full day. :td:

Is not possible (in a way that would save money over the $700a/i fare to PRG).

I'm only seeing cheaper fares to FRA as well and I agree that that is not a destination worthy of our DO. I'll keep an eye out for other inexpensive European fares but for now we can keep it in PRG.

Even DUB is almost $500 base.
