Might involve a transfer to FRA-HAHN (HHN) which is nowhere close to the stadt of Frankfurt. I think it's actually closer to PLI then it is FRA.

Just take DB from FRA to PRG. Or fly into MUC and take the DB from there (would be less time on the zug).

I'd suggest renting a car, but every time I've rented a car in FRA they've made me affirm that I wouldn't bring the car into CZ. If they found out I did they threated punishment in the form of internment in LH Y. Apparently there's a bit of an otto-theft problem there.

Also, be careful dipping into CZ from DE. The one time I did that I got back-roomed at JFK and got a rash of  from CBP.

The only real option is Air Berlin and that requires a stop in DUS, which basically requires a full day. :td:

You have Vueling through BCN, Easyjet through LGW, FR through Hann, Aer Lingus through dublin.

FRA-PRG is an interesting drive ... I've done it.

The only one that may work is Hannover but the rest would require a trip through EWR or transiting LHR to LGW

Why? It's now part of the EU. I've had no problems like that. I've never had CBP problems. If I ever make it to the DPRK I'll expect problems :p. Until then, I won't.

CBP is a net exporter of , can't say I am surprised.

BA wanted to see a loaded T7 start to rotate and brake itself back down without lifting off. Details of this happening are in the last few pages of the book that sdm1130 and I read by Karl Sabbagh. BA basically said that without the test, they're not buying. The chief test pilot was not thrilled about having to execute such a test but in the end it worked, despite blown tires and white-hot brake discs.

It's indeed true that to spend $1,200 more on food (or travel or other important activity), one would have to otherwise receive an $1,800 or so raise.

The Google map on the 787 launch website has me nailed pretty much dead-on. I think they are calling it "approximate location" just so Google can maintain deniability over the fact that they know where I live.

20x CO miles - is that with or without the card?

I was working on a project in a remote corner of Bavaria on the CZ border, which had me going back and forth from the US every couple of weeks for a couple months.

When we finished the project we dipped across the border to grab some Czech beer (which is much better than DE bier). Apparently the road we took is notorious for smuggling from Eastern Europa and we got stopped at a check point where they took my reisepass for a few minutes.

When I arrived back at JFK I put on my immigration form that I had been in DE and CZ. The CBP agent saw my history of going back and forth to DE, a lot, and questioned me as to why I was traveling over there so frequently. I explained that I worked for a Deutsche Konzern. He then asked why I went to CZ and I told him it was to buy beer.

He 'ed at me, said "something is up" and flicked on his little light. Before I could say "I'm friends with Pandy" I was escorted to a back room by a man that makes CM look like a midget.

Is not possible (for me). I can't leave until Friday, so it would eat up all day Saturday just getting to PRG.
