Attention Rev. Mgmt. Lurker, many of us would also pay $$$ for CO flights to Europe during MLK Day Weekend if the prices were reasonable, rather than redeem BD miles (which won't even take miles off the books for CO). :-:

^

Last year, fares didn't drop until about a week and a half from now.

Canola here for the cooking and olive oil for taste where appropriate.

I also use grapeseed oil for cooking!

Or vectored the ANG for an up close and personal view of a F16.

Those -16 jocks have all kinds of fun ways to mess with pilots that are in need of a shift in their attention.

I was a fan of the very early production F-16's that had a light specifically designed to shine into cockpits. It was mounted on the right side, forward and below the canopy rail, IIRC.

I got a $25 ETC for malfunctioning AVOD on my EWR-LAS flight.

BNA never seems to be a weekly fare special on CO, to either IAH or EWR. Dunno about BNA-JFK with DL.

I think I've seen EWR-BNA before. I vaguely recall considering booking it. Not common, but I'm pretty sure it crops up every now and then. AVL does, too. One of these days I'm going to drag the wife along on that one. ^

Yup, it shows up once in a while. Canuck and I have friends down there. Every time it makes an appearance we're already sufficiently  for the upcoming weekend though.

One time I received a LikedIn request from someone I knew in a “six degrees of separation kind of way”. For what I could tell of his profile picture, he took his accordion to the Portrait Studio at Sears. Great way to meet girls! :D

I'm still waiting for you to accept my request...

My thought exactly!

That sounds like an awesome itinerary to get from Houston to Omaha! Stopping at all along the way?

BL JR is most exited about the dolphin experience at the Royal Hawaiian and having Sushi in NRT (she has become a big sushi fan of late). We are overnighting at a nice MR in GUM, and figure we can at least enjoy the sound of the ocean hanging out on our deck. When I called to handle the upgrades for HNL-GUM and NRT-IAH, she asked if it was a MR then said she wished she was doing it too. :D

Only issue is they are handling all upgrades manually and 48 hours later, still can't do NRT-IAH because they are "so backed up because of the * changeover". I asked the agent if his supervisor (whom he checked with) knew the * change happened the end of Oct.

Can the crystal ball kindly check 1661 for tomorrow? It is showing all zeroes for me, and I would consider giving up the same day turn and EUA for a bump that would in turn fund either Super Bowl weekend to Bag Regional HQ or a trip to Austin for the Starwood Do.

It'd be great if you could get the bump for Super Bowl then another bump then for AUS!

Bay Area Weather Alert:

It's butt cold outside. It was 43 when I drove my son to school this morning. One the other side of the Bay (think Oakland) there was snow in Danville and snow on all the mountain tops.

While driving home from getting the child at school, it started to rain mixed with ice pellets.

Tonight's forecast is for a hard freeze in some areas, temps in the 20s.

Brrrrrr

In other news, Mr. himself picked-up the TSA kerfuffle.

At least he followed up, though the interpretation is typical of him. I (and someone else) both pointed it out in a WaPo chat he was part of this afternoon. His first response was that it didn't matter because it was redacted, ignoring the fact that it wasn't. This version of his post seems to ignore that there are important things in the content simply because it might have never been implemented in this exact manner. He also ignores the idiocy of some of the things that are redacted, suggesting that the TSA is hiding way more than is necessary.

I'll step off my TS/S soapbox now. There's plenty of room for crazy over there, too.
