And you're not that old.

I meant 'old' -- as in DBL is soo 'yesterday' -- as opposed to Lehman, etc.!;)

Yep -- I have plenty of DBL swag -- a friend of mine worked in marketing, so I got some 'special' things!:D

Nope -- was not a banker -- had a variety of 'experiences' there -- retail & institutional sales & trading, & then Mtge-backed securities -- analyst, then trading desk!

Woops. The dogs just all went into full alarm mode, which, today, can only mean one thing: keeping with a DBL metaphor, it means barbarians (really, guests) at the gates. Time to go.

Also know not to get a monster turkey since those take longer to cook and you'll have too many left overs.

I'm doing the low key affair as well. Except for the wine part and the pumpkin pie, which I dislike.

Did you know that Ocean Spray wanted to make cans without the ridges but they received too many letters telling them no, it was tradition for the ridges to be there. ^

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Drexel was 20 years ago. Interestingly, and most unusual, the CH11 eventually paid off 100% of claims.

Happy Thanksgiving Box and greetings from DFW. Silly Admirals club doesn't have free internet (:td: but we knew this) so I get to use the communal machine.

Heading off to Madrid in a few hours - no turkey for us today! :D

Freeze it. Frame it. It is your image of the week.

We had the ridgeless cans one year. It was completely wrong. I do wish they'd go back to the old can as it was easier to get the stuff out by also opening up the open w/ a can opener and pushing it out.
