Today's menu:

Pepperoni bread, cheesesteak bread

Turkey with stuffing, veggies, etc.

Apple pie, pumpkin pie, key lime pie

Total table count: five. There will be plentiful amounts of poop jokes today.

There's a few reasons I live 800 miles away from my family.

Simple yes but if you want traditional food on Thanksgiving, that's apparently a happening place.

Don't they serve traditional Thanksgiving dinner every day of the year? I know someone who loves that place and she's Italian and is use to the multi-course Thanksgiving dinnere where the turkey is more of a show piece as they are too stuff by the time they get to the turkey course.

The family that I want to be with is spread across south Florida, and the family I want to avoid is in NY. Something is wrong with this picture.

That was true with the fireplace in the living room -- had it disconnected & gas line capped -- we are 'real' wood fireplace-lovers, here!;):D:-:

Should put a gas starter pipe in there, makes it easy to get the logs burning.

I've got 2 cords of oak on the rack in the back yard. :)

I'm starting to believe "more reward availability for Plats" is a myth.

Well -- got a boy scout in my family -- so 'fire-startin' is not an issue!:D;)^

I haven't had a real bagle in a few years now. The one I had last month in NYC wasn't a real bagle and I thought that was against the law in NYC.

You can actually get one in Highland Park not too far from your house at the little bagel shop on Raritan Ave (27) between 1st and 2d Aves.

I've always had real bagels down this way long before most of the nation had even heard of bagels. When bagels became big nationwide that meant a lot of new crappy bagel places with the light as wonder bread bagels took over and they are the ones that have survived down here. All the real places have since closed.

More than likely - I've been to Cracker Barrel very rarely and never on a holiday (usually to get dinner on the road and procure Chik-O-Stix).

I love that my fiancee is on Facebook. I get to leave cute little nuggets of snark on her Wall.
