Hehe. It's tolerable in F. I did not like the look of their Y cabins, though.

I've given them revenue for a total of one itinerary since 2001 and that was because they had a moronic fare (WAS-BOS for ~$80 RT).

I'm horribly bored tonight. So far I've watched a one hour 25 minute movie in one hour. Maybe I should put the first Lord of the Rings movie in the bluray player and get the walls to shake from the music.

Going to stop by to get some chocolates for tomorrow's crew! :D

Seat count divided by 50 comes close.

Using a personal vehicle is perfectly fine depending upon the reimbursement model.

Reimbursement models in the industry I'm looking into tend to be either car allowance or payment toward lease and maintenance. My current car has almost 135K on it and is a coupe.

I've never had a car allowance - when I go back into business on my own accord ...

BTW - my car hits 186k tomorrow (and is a 1998).

I was 6'2" in middle school and stopped growing. I was on a traveling basketball team (as a Center) that dominated; three of the four individuals in the league 6' or taller were on my team. We actually played a shutout in basketball and I was mad one game when I was the first to get scored upon (that one was 67-4).

Did any of the denizens herein who are proud patrons of the Blue Tail partake in a redemption on QF? My understanding is that used to be considered the "gold standard" for OP Miles use.

I had a car allowance. Only me and one other person in the company went the allowance route. Getting the allowance to help pay for my then 6 month old Accord vs. getting a fully paid for 2000 Pontiac Grand Am was an no brainer for me.

I've always been in the "mileage reimbursement" camp. That's another reason my cars tend to stay around for a long time. The marginal cost of mileage now is very low compared to the reimbursement - I had mentally depreciated the full value of the car before I got paid for it being totaled in 2007.

Depends. First accident or other issue with the car while on the road for work and you're screwed personally on the insurance. Taking the rental car is generally the smarter move overall, even with the reimbursement that you can get.

It was the gold standard up front. I never did it but a friend did. He had a blast.

I had a business/personal policy at the time.
