That's another parade I'd like to see in person.

I am normally not a parade type but always enjoyed the Rose Parade scene, particularly when I worked in an office overlooking parade (and could host family and clients). I have gone to 16 Rose Bowls and probably 11 parades... ^

I used to live in Pasadena, if you couldn't tell.

I see some interesting plans and am probably late for the discussion... What is most interesting plan for tomorrow?

I'm visiting rural Tennessee tomorrow.

High school (25 years ago) was the best. We all camped on parade route to try and meet girls -- never workied...

Some apartments in Paseo Colorado would qualify. As would the new (now, "-ish") Western Asset building...

Not a good night to be flying in/out of LaGuardia. FL had an engine fire alert and aborted a takeoff. Runway 13/31 was closed for a while.

Ouch.

About an hour each way. Even from a city like BNA or MEM, one can get to a very remote area in an hour.

I was in an old building at Colorado and Madison. Worked there twice (separate jobs) and got the corner office the last 2 years the company had an office there. With a reserved parking spot, I could get there (from north) about 15 minutes before parade arrived.
