Did a voluntary schedule change at JFK once about three years ago that put me at that RJ farm. I am lucky in that I never really need to take an RJ from JFK and that experience taught me that I should never want to do so again.

Dude. I worked in a hospital for a while during college (schlepping paperwork for the ER mostly) and healthcare workers, especially single middle-aged nurses, were FREAKS.

It's the Burning Shore Beach Lodge in Swakopmund, Namibia. I tried to book a room there for my December trip, but it was fully booked, even a few months ago. :-:

Good morning, Box. I am back! I have been felled by a vicious (sp?) heavy cold for the past week...

Which I presume that, just as I did, you caught in some of the lovely weather that they have over there in the UK.

In my case I made the bad mistake of also going up to Scotland which, of course, tripled my chances of catching something despite the constant downing of single malts as an attempt at prophylaxis.

Maybe they did stay there, but the link I posted was to a resort in Kenya, where the hotel's security staff entered the room with weapons drawn because they thought she was being beaten or killed given the noises she was putting out.

They want HND. I can't say that I blame them.

It would be a huge boon for SkyTeam and a great opportunity for DL to really establish a global presence. All they'd need is 5th freedom rights from Europe or some of the African destinations and they're well on their way to rebuilding the Pan Am network.

I'm so sorry that you had one heck of a day. Nothing worse than a sick child except for those smoke detectors.

Ah, so. I believe teh Burning Shore's claim to fame was because that was where Brangelina holed up when she was considering giving birth in Africa.

Kinda proves my point. Crazy is good to a certain degree. Pass that point and it just gets a bit too  for anything more than experiments on how far you can actually take it.

I know you're a little sour on that demographic but there was a reason you were hooked, lined, and sinkered for a bit.

I think that, for the future, if I'm out for a stereotype, I'll give Librarian a shot. :-:
