OK I'm happy. I just managed to find a way to get a R fare that's within the company's travel policies for an upcoming trip on our corporate travel agent's website. :D

I'm seriously tempted to book the rest of my trips to this client for the year tonight on this fare. It's only about $10-20 more than the discounted economy fare from my last couple of trips there, and within our policy.

I just got F'd by JP Morgan Chase AGAIN. I deposited 2 checks from the same person that were bad (he wrote me checks on a closed account). Chase says since I havent been with them for very long (6 months) and the 2 checks are of significant value ($5k but still not even half of what I have in my account) they freezing all funds and closing my account since I am a liability to the bank. They said they would send me a check for the remaining funds once this is figured out. Now I have no access to cash other than a brokerage account, but who am I going to transfer those funds to?

I HATE JP Morgan Chase and regret any business I have ever done with them.

Life lesson: Chase sucks. I learned it once with the CO card. Never again. Not even if I had the proverbial "gun to my head". I'd consider the bullet.

Wow, that really is awful! I've had a checking account with Chase for nearly four years and have never had any problem, nor have had I any issues with any of my credit cards with them.

On the other hand, don't get me started on Washington Mutual and the crap they did to me in 2004 when I was laid off…

Sorry to hear about your troubles, gbryan84. I have had a Chase credit card for many years and have, fortunately, never experienced any problems with it.

Chase has been ok for me. I've had issues as far as CO card benefits, though on my checking/savings account i've never had a problem with them.

That's a total bummer though, sorry about the hassle gbryan84

I hate chase! I deposited a check for 9k (from my dad - so i knew it was fine) but the bank it was written from I guess wrote something 'weird' on the check and it was on hold for like 2 weeks! But no one at the branch could tell me why. That is not the only reason I dislike them. Also the people at my branch are just plain stupid.


Now WAMU is also rediculous! I cant get online to check my accnt bc they decided to freeze online banking bc someone overseas is logging on....hum i wonder who that is? the owner of the account! Ugh!

Still have the accounts but mainly bank with USAA now.

For my banking needs, it is Wachovia hands down. They provide the best customer service I have ever received from a financial institution!
