You must read a lot of books at the same time.

speaking about locations to stay or live, I also find SPG properties in the wrong places

I work near the airport in Miami, yet they have no Miami Airport location even, the nearest airport location is in Fort Lauderdale, which is a good 30 minutes from where I need to be. South Beach locations have little to no parking.....so I have to stay at IHG or Marriott properties, Hyatt also has no near airport location.
As far as living....I used to have a condo up a bit high, and the balcony view was across Miami 'Historic Overtown' it is a bad neighborhood! However while most people drove around the area or otherwise avoided it, I drove through it 24/7 as a shortcut back to the near airport location I worked, I never felt unsafe as I was not a part of the community and most of the violence seemed to be quite targeted.

Mine is dying too, and it isn't even five years old yet.

One of our benefits at the new company is getting $1,300 every three years to buy a home computer. I think I'll take them up on that as soon as I'm eligible.

Does anyone else save a PDF of every single one of their boarding passes? I have no idea why I do this... I even have them all organized by year and then by date/destination.

Yep, I have em, much easier than keeping the real BP. I DON'T do that.

I always appreciate the stretch of I-635(?) north of Dallas that has, in close proximity, a giant Toyota dealership, the "Zone d'Erotica", and a huge Christian store.

When I lived in San Marcos, CA, there was a church located in a shopping center. This shopping center had only one entrance, and the first store to be found upon entering the parking lot was an erotic book store/toy shop. I suppose overcoming temptation was a highlight of sermons at that church. :)

I'm assuming you are talking about Woodbridge, NJ? Dang, I was about to use them to fight out a better event price out of the Woodbrige Hilton. I'd suspect a Renaissance would be less competitive.

You better get crackin'

IM looking for bday threads and all sorts of places congratulate people.

You can congratulate me on going to Sweden today for lunch. ;)

I think we can get you into some therapy for that pretty quickly ;)

I used to save the paper copies, but gave that up at the end of last year. Although if FM ever goes away, I'll be hosed.

I've never saved boarding passes. In fact, for many flights over the last year I've used the paperless boarding pass, so I couldn't save those even if I wanted to.

I've worried about FM going away and losing that data — I should probably print a PDF of my activity on there about once a month just in case.

Not a bad idea. I think I am going to do that today...

Fortunately all of our data is on a hard drive that's less than a year old, and it's not the problem. In fact, both hard drives in this computer are newer than the computer itself. Unfortunately it appears the problem with this machine is probably in the motherboard. I did a full reformat and reinstall of everything on the system drive two months ago and that has helped, but I'm still having issues, including both IE and Firefox randomly crashing due to memory errors on a regular basis, and random reboots that just suddenly happen for no apparent reason.

Any reason why?
